<html xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml" xmlns:v="urn:schemas-microsoft-com:vml" xmlns:o="urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office"><head></head><body><br>Matthew 13;26-29<div><br></div><div>“The kingdom of heaven may be compared to a man who sowed good seed in his field;</div><div><b>25. but while men were sleeping, his enemy came and sowed weeds among the wheat, and went away.</b></div><div><b>26. &nbsp;So when the plants came up and bore grain, then the weeds appeared also.</b></div><div><b>27. &nbsp;And the servants of the householder came and said to him, ‘Sir, did you not sow good seed in your field? &nbsp;How is it that it has weeds?’</b></div><div><b>28. &nbsp;He said to them, ‘ An enemy has done this.’ &nbsp;The servants said, ‘Then do you want us to go and gather them?’&nbsp;</b></div><div><b>29. &nbsp;But he said to them, ‘No; lest in gathering the weeds you root up the wheat also.’</b></div><div><b>30. &nbsp;Let both grow together until the harvest; and at the harvest time I will&nbsp;tell the reapers, ‘Gather the weeds first and bind them in bundles to be burned, but gather the wheat into my barn.’”</b></div><div><b><br></b></div><div>Jesus is the sower of good seed, the field is the world, the wheat are the sons of God, the weeds are the sons of the devil, the enemy is the devil. &nbsp;The reason for not allowing the reapers, (angels) to remove the weeds now is because it will&nbsp;destroy the&nbsp;wheat also. &nbsp;</div><div><br></div><div>I wish when I was a boy, and was sent to pull weeds from a flowerbed or the garden, I could have gotten out of it by saying to my Mom and Dad,&nbsp;“I should not weed today I will kill the flowers or the tomatoes.” &nbsp;No such luck, I hated weeding. &nbsp;Oh well…</div><div><br></div><div>What is not always&nbsp;recognized&nbsp;about this parable, is that weeds can be transformed into wheat! &nbsp;We were&nbsp;all weed seed of the devil, according to our human sinful&nbsp;nature. &nbsp;But, by the preaching of Christ and the waters of holy Baptism, we are born anew. &nbsp;By the Word and gift of the Holy Spirit&nbsp;our minds are renewed, and we are transformed. &nbsp;We are no longer<span>&nbsp;children of the devil. &nbsp;<i>“But to all who received him, who believed on his name, <u>he gave them&nbsp;</u><u>power to become children of God.</u></i></span><i>&nbsp; Who were born not of blood nor of the will of the flesh nor of the will of man,&nbsp;but of God.” &nbsp;</i><span>(John 1;12&amp;13)</span></div><div><span><br></span></div><div><span>Prayer: &nbsp;Thank you Father that you are delaying the harvest for the sake of my conversion and ,any others. &nbsp;Bless me to be about the work of the kingdom; proclaiming the Gospel&nbsp;of Christ, the good news of conversion into ‘wheat’, in Jesus I pray, Amen</span></div><div><span><br></span></div><div><span>Love,</span></div><div><span>Dad/Baba/Eric</span></div><div><span><br></span></div><div><span><br></span></div><div><b><br></b><br><a href="https://overview.mail.yahoo.com/?.src=iOS"></a><br></div></body></html>

Jesus is the sower of good seed, the field is the world, the wheat are the sons of God, the weeds are the sons of the devil, the enemy is the devil.  The reason for not allowing the reapers, (angels) to remove the weeds now is because it will destroy the wheat also.
