<html xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml" xmlns:v="urn:schemas-microsoft-com:vml" xmlns:o="urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office"><head></head><body><div><br></div>Matthew 13;34&amp;35<div><br></div><div><b>34. &nbsp;All this Jesus said to the crowds in parables, indeed he said nothing to them without a parable.</b></div><div><b>35. &nbsp;This was to fulfill what was spoken by the prophet: “I will open&nbsp;my mouth in parables, I will utter what has been hidden since the foundation of the world.”</b></div><div><b><br></b></div><div>Certainly many of God’s prophets had been killed over the ages. Therefore, the fact that holy men of God paid with their lives for calling people to repent, and for warning of the destructive consequences of sin, was never hidden. &nbsp;I do not doubt that the people already understood Jesus came from God. &nbsp;Many had already declared him the promised Messiah who would rescue Israel and be their king. &nbsp;None of this was hidden.</div><div><br></div><div>What remained hidden was that Jesus was not only<span>&nbsp;a&nbsp;true man, fully human, but also God incarnate, true God&nbsp;at the same time. &nbsp;This remained hidden. &nbsp;Notice eight days after Easter&nbsp;when doubting Thomas saw the nail prints in Jesus’ hands he said, <i>“My Lord, and <u>my God.</u>&nbsp; Jesus said to him, “Have you believed because you have seen me? &nbsp;Blessed are those who have not seen and yet believe.” &nbsp;</i></span></div><div><span>(John 20;28&amp;29)</span></div><div><span><br></span></div><div><span>As hard as it may be for some people to believe in the full divinity of Jesus, there remains another truth about the incarnation&nbsp;that many Christians have yet to grasp. &nbsp;Jesus, true God, is come into us, making us new and divine also. &nbsp;We are now God’s children, perfectly&nbsp;</span><span>one with Christ according to the new born again man. &nbsp;This is God’s doing, not ours. &nbsp;</span></div><div><span><br></span></div><div><span>Only by faith in the incarnate&nbsp;Christ <u>in us</u>, can we do the works God has prepared for us. &nbsp;<i>“We are the workmanship of God, created in Christ Jesus, for good works, which God prepared before hand that we should walk in them.” &nbsp; </i>(Ephesians 2;10)</span></div><div><span><br></span></div><div><span>Prayer: &nbsp;Strengthen my faith dear Father to believe that God became flesh in Christ, and, in me.</span></div><div><span>In Jesus I pray, Amen.</span></div><div><span><br></span></div><div><span>Love,</span></div><div><span>Dad/Baba/Eric</span></div><div><span><i></i></span></div><div><b><br></b><br><br><a href="https://overview.mail.yahoo.com/?.src=iOS"></a><br></div></body></html>
