<html><head></head><body><div><div><div><div><br></div>Acts 1;8b<div><br></div><div><b>8b. &nbsp;and you shall be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria and to the end of the earth.”</b></div><div><b><br></b></div><div>The Good News of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, includes&nbsp;more than our own personal justification, it also include our sanctification.</div><div><br></div><div>We are not only forgiven of our sin and given faith to believe in the death, resurrection, and promised&nbsp;return of Jesus. &nbsp;We are given the Holy Spirit, so&nbsp;that we have power to be witnesses to Christ who has come into his Church giving us newness of life.</div><div><br></div><div>Justification is God giving us new&nbsp;life in Jesus, Sanctification is us giving a witness of that new life to others. &nbsp;This we do by the proclamation of the Gospel attended by a witness of God’s love at work in and through us sacrificially.</div><div><br></div><div>To whom are we to give this witness? &nbsp;Is short, we are to give it to the world. &nbsp;This includes not only those we consider the center of our world, or those importantly and directly&nbsp;connected to our world, but &nbsp;also&nbsp;to those we know and do not like, as well as those we do not even know and are fearful of.</div><div><br></div><div>This is what Jesus means when he says, <i>“…in&nbsp;Jerusalem and in all Judea and&nbsp;Samaria and to the end of the earth.” &nbsp;</i>This command of Jesus reflects John 3;16, <i>“For God so loved the world…”</i>. This means everyone. Those we know hate us and seek to destroy us, as well as family, friends, neighbors, and strangers afar off. &nbsp;</div><div><br></div><div>The Church is called and commanded to be <i>“Going” </i>&nbsp;(Matthew 28;18-20).&nbsp;</div><div><br></div><div>We can not, must not be content to be Believers, we are to be Disciple Makers, through preaching, baptizing, and teaching (not just doctrine, but a life, the Life). &nbsp;This we are to do with passion, devotion, and faithfulness. &nbsp;</div><div><br></div><div>The love of God has been poured into our hearts. &nbsp;We are insensible to it according to our flesh. &nbsp;But, the Spirit of God is yearning within us to be consecrated&nbsp;witnesses to Christ, crucified, resurrected, ascended, in-dwelling, and coming again.</div><div><br></div><div>Prayer: &nbsp;Merciful Father, grant that the very passion and devotion of Jesus to your will,&nbsp;our salvation, and transformation, be at work in and through us by faith, to your glory and our own peace and joy.</div><div>. &nbsp;In Jesus we pray, Amen.</div><div><br></div><div>Love,</div><div>Dad/Baba/Eric</div><div>Grandpa Pickle Pastor</div><div>“A chapter a day, every day, progressively, be transformed, ‘soak’ in the living Word.”</div><div><br><br><a href="https://overview.mail.yahoo.com/?.src=iOS" rel="nofollow" target="_blank"></a><br></div></div></div></div></body></html>
