<html><head></head><body><div><div><div><div><br></div>Ephesians 1;13&amp;14<div><br></div><div><b>13. &nbsp;In him </b>(Jesus Christ)&nbsp;<b>you also, who have heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation, and have believed in him, were sealed with the promised Holy Spirit,</b></div><div><b></b><b>14. &nbsp;who is the guarantee of our inheritance until we acquire possession of it, to the praise of his glory.</b></div><div><b><br></b></div><div>An inheritance is the entire estate of One who has died. &nbsp;</div><div><br></div><div>God’s estate is eternal, perfect&nbsp;righteousness, life,&nbsp;light, joy, and&nbsp;peace. &nbsp;It is also a new heaven and a new earth, the home of righteousness. (see, 2 Peter 3;13) &nbsp;There is no sorrow, or sighing, and&nbsp;no sin, and no&nbsp;death&nbsp;in our inheritance, no unholy fear, or&nbsp;separation, or loneliness. &nbsp;There is perfect accord, agreement, unity&nbsp;and belonging in our inheritance. &nbsp;In our inheritance we have&nbsp;ongoing&nbsp;discovery, fruitful growth, and unending&nbsp;increase of love for our Father, our Elder Brother Jesus, and for one another. &nbsp;The riches of our inheritance in Christ are beyond measure.</div><div><br></div><div>The Holy Spirit has been&nbsp;given us by the Word of the Gospel found in the waters of holy Baptism.</div><div><br></div><div>He is the One who has&nbsp;sealed into our hearts the imperishable hope of the glory of God. &nbsp;The kingdom which he has made our inheritance by the death and resurrection of Christ.</div><div><br></div><div>We now await the full revelation of that kingdom. &nbsp;We will receive it in full after our physical death, the whole&nbsp;world will see it, both Believers and Unbelievers at the coming of Jesus on the last day.</div><div><br></div><div>Even now, as God’s children and heirs of the kingdom of God, we have&nbsp;already begun to&nbsp;partake&nbsp;of the great wedding feast, as we receive and abide in&nbsp;the Word of God, (who is Christ,&nbsp;t<span>he Living Bread of heaven). &nbsp;As we are in the fellowship of Believers who gather in Divine Service, we experience even more this glorious foretaste of the wonders that are still to come.</span></div><div><span><br></span></div><div><span>Though now for a little while we must suffer with Christ in this world of sin. &nbsp;We do so joyfully, knowing that our witness to Christ indwelling us, and our proclamation of his Good News, is bringing His mercy,&nbsp;Life and Light into the souls of others who have been lost in darkness and death. &nbsp;Through the ministry of the Word of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, the prisoners are being set free, and are with us walking in newness of life.</span></div><div><span><br></span></div><div><span>Prayer: &nbsp;Merciful Father, your work of Creation is complete in Christ. &nbsp;Imperishable life and perfect light shines your righteousness into our new-born souls. &nbsp;Bless us to ever rejoice in our inheritance even now. &nbsp;For your Holy Spirit has brought the joy and certainty&nbsp;of faith into our cleansed and redeemed souls. &nbsp;By the same Word and Spirit keep us faithful until we see you face to face, the manifestation of&nbsp;our full and final inheritance. &nbsp;In Jesus we pray, Amen.</span></div><div><span><br></span></div><div><span>Love,</span></div><div><span>Dad/Baba/Eric</span></div><div><span>Grandpa Pickle Pastor</span></div><div><span>“A chapter a day, every day, progressively, be transformed, ‘soak’ in the living Word. &nbsp;God’s Word is our habitation, and we are His.”</span></div><br><div><span><br></span></div><div><span><br></span></div><div><span><br></span></div><div><br></div><div><br><br><br><div><a></a><br></div></div></div></div></div></body></html>


Ephesians 1;13&14
13.  In him (Jesus Christ) you also, who have heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation, and have believed in him, were sealed with the promised Holy Spirit,14.  who is the guarantee of our inheritance until we acquire possession of it, to the praise of his glory.
An inheritance is the entire estate of One who has died.  
God’s estate is eternal, perfect righteousness, life, light, joy, and peace.  It is also a new heaven and a new earth, the home of righteousness. (see, 2 Peter 3;13)  There is no sorrow, or sighing, and no sin, and no death in our inheritance, no unholy fear, or separation, or loneliness.  There is perfect accord, agreement, unity and belonging in our inheritance.  In our inheritance we have ongoing discovery, fruitful growth, and unending increase of love for our Father, our Elder Brother Jesus, and for one another.  The riches of our inheritance in Christ are beyond measure.
