<html><head></head><body><div><div><div><div><br></div>Ephesians 1;13&amp;14 &nbsp;(reprise, for further consideration)<div><br></div><div><b>13. &nbsp;In him, </b>(Jesus Christ) <b>you also, who have heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation, and have believed in him, were sealed with the promised Holy Spirit,</b></div><div><b></b><b>14. &nbsp;who is the guarantee of our inheritance until we acquire possession of it, to the praise of his glory.</b></div><div><br></div><div>Those who <i>“heard the word of truth, the gospel of our salvation, and who believed in him” </i>(Jesus),</div><div>refers to us. &nbsp;<span>We</span><span>&nbsp;are not simply forgiven</span><span>, but we&nbsp;</span><span>have died with him and are raised with him.</span><span>&nbsp;&nbsp;</span></div><div><span><br></span></div><div><span>We believe Christ was given by the Father for us to ‘live in’. We live in him&nbsp;not as old,&nbsp;</span><span>unholy, unclean,</span><span> selfish dead sinners&nbsp;living&nbsp;</span><span>in a new house, (sheltered from the storm of death, but&nbsp;still subject to our old nature,&nbsp;</span><span>indulging in ongoing wickedness and evil).&nbsp;&nbsp; In Christ we have been made&nbsp;clean,&nbsp;</span><span>new-born children, who now possess the very spiritual DNA of Jesus, siblings of the Savior, fruitful&nbsp;children of God, who will to do the Father’s will</span><span></span></div><div><span><br></span></div><div><span>The Holy Spirit is given to us so that we, as God’s own dear children, would have the very same inner desire and will of Jesus, the very <i>“mind of Christ”.</i>&nbsp; &nbsp;This was all promised to God’s people through the prophet Joel, chapter 2, verses19-29, (see also the conclusion of&nbsp;Peter’s Pentecostal Sermon,&nbsp;Acts 2;37&amp;38)&nbsp;The Spirit of God is given to us so that from the heart, (which are&nbsp;new hearts of flesh, no longer stony, resisting the will of the Father), we are joyfully&nbsp;joined with Jesus to do the will of the Father. &nbsp;By the Holy Spirit we share in the heart of Jesus, the will of God is ours. We become <i>“partakers of the divine nature” </i>(2 Peter 1;4)&nbsp;We have a new purpose for living.</span></div><div><span><br></span></div><div><span>We are not just forgiven, we are inspired.</span></div><div><span><br></span></div><div><span>For now, we are like the sons of an incredibly rich, wise, and skillful&nbsp;father who is a farmer. &nbsp;We do not own the farm yet, it is not ours, but we are living with him, loving the labors of farming with him, learning from him, joyfully&nbsp;sharing in his life.&nbsp; We are learning all that our father knows about growing and harvesting&nbsp;life!</span></div><div><span><br></span></div><div><span>For now, we do not&nbsp;yet know all he knows, nor do we have all the powers that he has, but we love him and are willingly&nbsp;learning from him. &nbsp;We are <i>“called according to his purpose” </i>(Romans 8;28&amp;28) and&nbsp;as we live with him as his children,&nbsp;His own life and blood course through our veins. &nbsp;&nbsp;He is in us and we are His own.</span></div><div><span>All His riches will be ours, even as now we are&nbsp;learning to run the farm as He does.</span></div><div><span><br></span></div><div><span>Prayer: &nbsp;Merciful Father, open our hearts and minds to know who and whose we are. &nbsp;In Jesus we pray, Amen.</span></div><div><span><br></span></div><div><span>Love,&nbsp;</span></div><div><span>Dad/Baba/Eric</span></div><div><span>Grandpa Pickle Pastor</span></div><div><span>“A chapter a day, every day, progressively, be transformed, ‘soak’ in the living Word. &nbsp;God’s Word is our habitation and we are His.”</span></div><div><span><br></span></div><div><span><br></span></div><div><div><br></div><div><br><div><br><br><div><a></a><br></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></body></html>


Ephesians 1;13&14  (reprise, for further consideration)

Those who “heard the word of truth, the gospel of our salvation, and who believed in him” (Jesus),refers to us.  We are not simply forgiven, but we have died with him and are raised with him.
