<html><head></head><body><div><div><div><div><br></div>Ephesians 3;20&amp;21<div><br></div><div><b>20. &nbsp;Now <u>to Him</u>&nbsp;who <u>by the power at work within us</u>&nbsp;is able to do far more abundantly than all we ask or think,</b></div><div><b>21. &nbsp;to Him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus to all generations, for ever and ever. &nbsp;Amen.</b></div><div><b><br></b></div><div><i>“For God is at work in you, both to will and to work for his good pleasure.” &nbsp;</i><u>(</u>Philippians 2;13)</div><div><br></div><div>The power at work in us is the indwelling Jesus Christ himself&nbsp;by the Holy Spirit. &nbsp;We remember also&nbsp;that&nbsp;the Father indwells the Son. &nbsp;(John 17)</div><div><br></div><div>We are in holy&nbsp;communion with the Lord God Almighty through faith. &nbsp;We are more than forgiven, we are indwelt. &nbsp;We have the Mind of Christ which is to do the will of the Father. &nbsp;</div><div><br></div><div>It is by the power of God within us,&nbsp;that we walk by the Spirit in lives of good works, done for the glory of the Father, done because doing them has become our joy in the Lord.</div><div><br></div><div>As Jesus taught us regarding who we really are,&nbsp;in the Sermon on the Mount:</div><div><i>“You are the light of the world. &nbsp;A city set on a hill cannot be hid. &nbsp;Nor do men light a lamp and put it under a bushel, but on a stand, and it gives light to all in the house. &nbsp;Let your light so shine before men,&nbsp;that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is&nbsp;in heaven.” </i>(Matthew 5;14-16)</div><div><br></div><div>The good works,&nbsp;fruitfulness, faithfulness, and love of God&nbsp;are all already in us, by the indwelling of Christ.</div><div>By faith in his indwelling presence, we, <i>“are able to do more abundantly&nbsp;than all&nbsp;we ask or think.”</i></div><div>It is our old carnal, stubborn, lazy, selfish, immoral minds which dim our light, we limit ourselves by lack of faith and the old evil desires of our flesh.&nbsp;</div><div><br></div><div>&nbsp;Christ is already present in us. &nbsp;We by our old nature,&nbsp;in doubt and selfishness resist him. &nbsp;This is why Paul exhorts us to, <i>“Walk by the Spirit, and do not gratify the desires of the flesh. &nbsp;For the desires of the flesh are against the Spirit and the desires of the Spirit are against the flesh; for these are opposed to each other, to prevent you from doing what you would.”&nbsp;</i></div><div><i>&nbsp;</i>(Galatians 5;16&amp;17)</div><div><br></div><div>The Church glorifies the Father through the Son who indwell us by the Holy Spirit. &nbsp;The good works we do, we do in faith and by faith in the indwelling presence of Christ in us. &nbsp;We claim no credit, all the honor, praise, and glory are his.</div><div><br></div><div>Prayer: &nbsp;Merciful Father, bless us by faith,&nbsp;know what we are, (a new creation, the workmanship of God)&nbsp;who we are now by our baptism <u>into&nbsp;Christ</u>, and whose we are in Christ Jesus (your own dear children). &nbsp;Grant that we by the Spirit, put to death the deeds of the body, and live in and with Jesus to the praise of your glory. &nbsp;In Jesus we pray, Amen.</div><div><br></div><div>Love,</div><div>Dad/Baba/Eric</div><div>Grandpa Pickle Pastor</div><div>A chapter a day, every day, progressively, be transformed, ‘soak’ in the living Word.” &nbsp;God’s Word is our habitation, and we are His.”</div><div><br></div><div><br><br><br><div><a href="https://mail.onelink.me/107872968?pid=nativeplacement&amp;c=Global_Acquisition_YMktg_315_Internal_EmailSignature&amp;af_sub1=Acquisition&amp;af_sub2=Global_YMktg&amp;af_sub3=&amp;af_sub4=100000604&amp;af_sub5=EmailSignature__Static_" rel="nofollow" target="_blank"></a><br></div></div></div></div></div></body></html>
