<html><head></head><body><div><div><div><div><br></div>Ephesians 4;4-6<div><br></div><div><b>4. &nbsp;There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called to the one hope that belongs to your call,</b></div><div><b>5. &nbsp;one Lord, one faith, one baptism,</b></div><div><b>6. &nbsp;one God and Father of us all, who is above all and through all and in all.</b></div><div><br></div><div>Just what is the <i>“one hope that belongs to our call?” &nbsp;</i></div><div><i><br></i></div><div>What is the hope of every bride? &nbsp;She desires to be ‘holy, separated unto her husband only,&nbsp;‘one’ with her ‘husband’ alone. &nbsp;&nbsp;Just as an egg cell by itself&nbsp;is not able to<span>&nbsp;</span><span>fruitfully multiply&nbsp;</span><span>with out the sperm, so too are we without Christ our Bridegroom.</span></div><div><span>As God commanded Adam and Eve to, <i>“be fruitful and multiply” </i>so too is the hope of the Bride of Christ, the Church. &nbsp;</span></div><div><span><br></span></div><div><span>This is why Jesus commands his disciples to, <i>“Go therefore and&nbsp;make disciples of all nations, baptizing&nbsp;them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit,&nbsp;teaching them to obey all that I have commanded you; and&nbsp;Lo, I am with you always even to the close&nbsp;of the age.” &nbsp;</i></span></div><div><span>(Matthew 28;19&amp;20) &nbsp;(Our Lord&nbsp;<i>“makes” </i>us <i>“fishers of men” </i>as we by his grace, follow him.)</span></div><div><span><br></span></div><div><span>The <i>“one hope” </i>of the Bride of Christ is for perfect oneness with him, and&nbsp;to&nbsp;be perfectly&nbsp;one with &nbsp;each other,&nbsp;in heart, mind, soul, and spirit. &nbsp;</span></div><div><span><br></span></div><div><span>We yearn to be with him our Lord,&nbsp;physically in new glorified, perfected bodies, even as we have already&nbsp;been made one with him in the heavenly places in the new-man. &nbsp;We yearn to be fully&nbsp;out of this veil of tears and in the new heaven and the new earth; but for now, the Father wills that&nbsp;we,&nbsp;in this earthly time, share in the&nbsp;sufferings of Christ, and learn to ‘put off’ the old nature and walk by the Spirit.</span></div><div><span><br></span></div><div><span>&nbsp;&nbsp;The visage of this oneness is still being obscured by our struggle against sin and the old dead nature which clings to our flesh. &nbsp;But, the reality of our oneness before God is complete already in Christ.</span></div><div><span><br></span></div><div><span>Our <i>“one hope” </i>is to know the love of Christ which surpasses&nbsp;knowledge and to be filled with all the fullness of God.</span></div><div><span><br></span></div><div><span>Once again, receiving God’s&nbsp;truth requires that we be ‘children of God’ who are not limited by human reasoning or the&nbsp;laws of physics. &nbsp;I love it when Paul teaches&nbsp;us that God is <i>“above all, <u>and</u>&nbsp;through all, <u>and</u>&nbsp;in all” </i><b>all</b>,&nbsp;at the same time! &nbsp;Western, Aristotelian thinking can not comprehend this. &nbsp;This is divine truth which transcends human logic and reasoning. &nbsp;Receiving this&nbsp;is impossible&nbsp;for ‘adults’ (who trust in themselves and their own understanding), but easy for ‘children’ who simply by his grace&nbsp;believe&nbsp;and embrace the fullness of God and his divine truth.</span></div><div><span><br></span></div><div><span>Prayer: &nbsp;Merciful Father, we&nbsp;can not&nbsp;yet&nbsp;comprehend fully the <i>“one hope”</i>&nbsp;to which we have been called, but you have blessed our hearts, souls, and spirits to, by faith,&nbsp;delight in your will and your plans for us. &nbsp;Bless us dear Father to ever and forever&nbsp;abide in the<i>&nbsp;“one hope”</i>&nbsp;who is Jesus, and in the Mind of Christ which you have given us,&nbsp;ever seeking only to do Thy will. &nbsp;In Jesus&nbsp;we pray, Amen.</span></div><div><span><br></span></div><div><span>Love,</span></div><div><span>Dad/Baba/Eric</span></div><div><span>Grandpa Pickle Pastor</span></div><div><span>“A chapter a day, every day, progressively, be transformed, ‘soak’ in the living Word. &nbsp;God’s Word is our habitation, and we are His.”</span></div><div><span><i><br></i></span></div><div><span><br></span></div><div><span><br></span></div><div><br><br><div><a href="https://mail.onelink.me/107872968?pid=nativeplacement&amp;c=Global_Acquisition_YMktg_315_Internal_EmailSignature&amp;af_sub1=Acquisition&amp;af_sub2=Global_YMktg&amp;af_sub3=&amp;af_sub4=100000604&amp;af_sub5=EmailSignature__Static_" rel="nofollow" target="_blank"></a><br></div></div></div></div></div></body></html>


Ephesians 4;4-6

Just what is the “one hope that belongs to our call?”
