<html><head></head><body><div><div><div><div><br></div>Ephesians 4;7<div><br></div><div><b>7. &nbsp;But grace was given to us according to Christ’s gift.</b></div><div><b><br></b></div><div>What is Christ’s gift? &nbsp; (This is important to know, because the grace we receive from him is <i>“according” </i>to the gift given to Christ.).&nbsp;<span>So what is </span><i>“Christ’s gift” </i><span>and who gave it to him?</span></div><div><br></div><div>First of all, as God, Christ&nbsp;needs nothing, <i>“If I were hungry, I would not tell you; for the world and all that is in it is mine.” &nbsp;</i>(Psalm 50;12) &nbsp;Creation itself obeys him, even the winds and the waves!</div><div><br></div><div>It is the Father himself who gives to his Son <u>all</u>&nbsp;power and authority. This is <i>“Christ’s gift.”</i></div><div>Jesus says, <i>“All authority in heaven and earth has been <u>given</u>&nbsp;unto me.” &nbsp;</i>(Matthew 28;18)</div><div>King David wrote of Jesus saying, <i>“The LORD says to my Lord: ‘Sit at my right hand, till I make your enemies your footstool.’ &nbsp;The Lord sends forth from Zion your mighty scepter. &nbsp;Rule in the midst of your foes! &nbsp;Your people will offer themselves freely on the day you lead your host </i>(in holy array)&nbsp;<i>upon the holy mountains.” &nbsp;</i><span>(Psalm 110;1-3a)</span></div><div><span><br></span></div><div><span>It is <i>“according” </i>to this limitless power and authority given to Christ by the LORD, (the Father) that grace was given to us! &nbsp;What is <i>“grace”? &nbsp;</i>&nbsp;</span></div><div><span><br></span></div><div><span><i>“Grace”</i>&nbsp;is unmerited and&nbsp;undeserved mercy and love. &nbsp;<i>“Grace” </i>&nbsp;is the King of the universe declaring guilt sinners innocent and righteous. &nbsp;<i>“For by <u>grace</u>&nbsp;you have been saved through faith;&nbsp; this is not your own doing, it is the <u>gift</u>&nbsp;of God—&nbsp;not because of&nbsp;works, lest any man should boast.” &nbsp;</i></span></div><div><span>(Ephesians 2;8&amp;9)</span></div><div><span><br></span></div><div><span>The <i>“grace” </i>given to us is infinite, limitless, and&nbsp;eternal. &nbsp;There is no measure to the gifts of salvation and faith given to us, <i>“according” </i>to the power and authority given to Christ. &nbsp;</span></div><div><span><br></span></div><div><span>In Christ then, we share in the infinite, eternal, love of the Father. &nbsp;</span></div><div><span><br></span></div><div><span>This is why and how&nbsp;we are&nbsp;in the&nbsp;continual <i>“joy of our salvation”</i>! &nbsp;(Psalm 51;12)</span></div><div><span>It is by the gift the Father has given to the Son. &nbsp;We truly partake of infinite love, therefore we worship God our Savior, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.<i></i></span></div><div><span><br></span></div><div><span>Prayer: &nbsp;Merciful Father, bless us to believe we are loved with your own limitless, powerful, authoritative love, because you have made us to be in your Son, Jesus the Christ. &nbsp;Bless us to meditate upon <i>“Christ’s gift”,&nbsp;&nbsp;</i>for in him you have made us to be partakers. &nbsp;In Jesus we pray, Amen.</span></div><div><span><br></span></div><div><span>Love,</span></div><div><span>Dad/Baba/Eric</span></div><div><span>Grandpa Pickle Pastor</span></div><div><span>“A chapter a day, every day, progressively, be transformed, ‘soak’ in the living Word. &nbsp;God’s Word is our habitation, and we are His.”</span></div><div><span><br></span></div><div><br><br><br><div><a href="https://mail.onelink.me/107872968?pid=nativeplacement&amp;c=Global_Acquisition_YMktg_315_Internal_EmailSignature&amp;af_sub1=Acquisition&amp;af_sub2=Global_YMktg&amp;af_sub3=&amp;af_sub4=100000604&amp;af_sub5=EmailSignature__Static_" rel="nofollow" target="_blank"></a><br></div></div></div></div></div></body></html>


Ephesians 4;7
7.  But grace was given to us according to Christ’s gift.
What is Christ’s gift?   (This is important to know, because the grace we receive from him is “according” to the gift given to Christ.). So what is “Christ’s gift” and who gave it to him?

It is the Father himself who gives to his Son all power and authority.
