<html><head></head><body><div><div><div><div><br></div>Ephesians 6;1-4<div><br></div><div><b>1. &nbsp;Children, obey your parents <u>in the Lord</u>, for this is right. </b>(As new-born, in-dwelt Children of God.)<br><b>2. &nbsp;“Honor your father and your mother” (this is the first commandment with a promise),</b></div><div><b>3. &nbsp;“that it may be well with you and that you may live long on the earth.”</b></div><div><b>4. &nbsp;Father’s do not provoke your children to anger, but bring them up in the discipline and instruction of the Lord.</b></div><div><b><br></b></div><div>If children are not brought up in the discipline and instruction of the Lord, they will most likely&nbsp;face the wrath of God in the Judgement. &nbsp;Fathers are commanded by God&nbsp;to be the primary spiritual educators of the children God gives them to care for.</div><div><br></div><div>Children even now&nbsp;are, and&nbsp;will indeed be, justifiably be&nbsp;angry at their fathers who fail to fulfill their God given duties. &nbsp;So much of our societal collapse is rooted in a cultural&nbsp;rejection of all authority. &nbsp;This is the fault of fathers who fail in their fathering.</div><div><br></div><div><i>“For I the Lord your God am a jealous God, visiting&nbsp;the iniquity&nbsp;of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of those who hate Me, but showing steadfast love&nbsp;unto thousands of those who love Me and keep my Commandments.” &nbsp;</i>(Exodus 20;5b&amp;6)</div><div><br></div><div>Children need to see the love of God, the indwelling presence of Christ by the Holy Spirit,&nbsp;at work in the&nbsp;humble,&nbsp;forgiven, believing&nbsp;hearts of their fathers. &nbsp;They need to see their father’s devotion to the Lord and his Word. &nbsp;Fathers are to teach God’s Word, and&nbsp;more than doctrine,&nbsp;they need to see in their fathers a true&nbsp;display of&nbsp;love for God. &nbsp;Fathers&nbsp;are to exhibit before their children&nbsp;their own disciplines of self-control, kindness, joy, strength, peace, patience, gentleness,&nbsp;&nbsp;goodness,&nbsp;generosity,<span>&nbsp;stewardship of time and talents, and an evangelical concern for the salvation of others. &nbsp;Children need to see their father’s own faith and&nbsp;faithfulness. &nbsp;</span></div><div><span><br></span></div><div><span>Only fathers who&nbsp;walk by the Spirit, in the Law of ‘the Spirit of Life in Christ Jesus’, (Christ by faith indwelling) are able to give such a witness to their children. &nbsp;These are men who by faith are <i>“partakers of the divine nature.” &nbsp;</i>(2 Peter 1;2-<u>4</u>, and 5-15)</span></div><div><span><br></span></div><div><span>Prayer: &nbsp;Merciful Father, have mercy upon the tens and hundreds of thousands of fatherless&nbsp;children this licentious nation has spawned. &nbsp;Give to your Church a vision for proclamation of the Light of the&nbsp;Gospel in Word <u>and deed,</u>&nbsp;into the darkness of this wicked and lost world. &nbsp;Let these lost, abandoned, fatherless children be found by&nbsp;You dear Father, through the sacrificial, loving, evangelical&nbsp;outreach of the Bride, the Body of Christ, the Church. &nbsp;Give true repentance to the deadbeat dads who have abandoned their children,&nbsp;(who through their abandonment and neglect of their duties are bringing the curse of Malachi upon this nation, provoking their children to wrath.) &nbsp;Have mercy Father and, <i>“Turn the hearts of the fathers to their children, and the hearts of the children to their fathers.”</i>&nbsp; (Malachi 4;5&amp;6) &nbsp;In Jesus we pray, Amen.</span></div><div><span><br></span></div><div><span>Love,</span></div><div><span>Dad/Baba/Eric</span></div><div><span>Grandpa Pickle Pastor</span></div><div><span>“A chapter a day, every day, progressively, be transformed, ‘soak’ in the living Word. &nbsp;God’s Word is our habitation, and we are His.”</span></div><div><br><div><a href="https://mail.onelink.me/107872968?pid=nativeplacement&amp;c=Global_Acquisition_YMktg_315_Internal_EmailSignature&amp;af_sub1=Acquisition&amp;af_sub2=Global_YMktg&amp;af_sub3=&amp;af_sub4=100000604&amp;af_sub5=EmailSignature__Static_" rel="nofollow" target="_blank"></a><br></div></div></div></div></div></body></html>


Ephesians 6;1-4
