<html><head></head><body><div><div><div><div><br></div>Philippians 1;1&amp;2<div><br></div><div><b>1. &nbsp;Paul and Timothy, servants of Christ Jesus, To all the saints <u>in Christ Jesus</u>&nbsp;who are at Philippi, with the bishops and deacons:</b></div><div><b>2. &nbsp;Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.</b></div><div><b><br></b></div><div>Remember the word <i>“of” </i>means ‘from’ or ‘<u>out</u>&nbsp;of’. &nbsp;Therefore, to be <i>“servants&nbsp;</i><u>of Christ Jesus”</u>&nbsp;asserts that&nbsp;they are&nbsp;servants <u>because</u>&nbsp;they literally come out&nbsp;<i>“of” </i>Jesus.&nbsp;They are ‘extensions, emanations, projections, and members or parts’ of members of&nbsp;Jesus’ own self, his own&nbsp;body, Him&nbsp;who is ‘the Great Servant’. &nbsp;As Jesus said, <i>“For the Son of man also came&nbsp;not to be served but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.” &nbsp; &nbsp;</i><span>(Mark 10;45)</span><i>&nbsp;</i></div><div><i><br></i></div><div><span>All who Believe and are baptized into Christ, are <i>“saints” </i>meaning ‘holy ones’. &nbsp;To be holy is not simply to be cleansed of sin. &nbsp;It means to be ‘set apart’ from all that is unclean AND dedicated, destined, and appointed, <i>“to live for the praise of God’s glory.”</i>&nbsp; (Ephesians 1;12). Philippians 1;1&2
1.  Paul and Timothy, servants of Christ Jesus, To all the saints in Christ Jesus who are at Philippi, with the bishops and deacons:2.  Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
Remember the word “of” means ‘from’ or ‘out of’.  Therefore, to be “servants of Christ Jesus” asserts that they are servants because they literally come out “of” Jesus. They are ‘extensions, emanations, projections, and members or parts’ of members of Jesus’ own self, his own body, Him who is ‘the Great Servant’.  As Jesus said, “For the Son of man also came not to be served but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.”    (Mark 10;45)
