<html><head></head><body><div><div><div><div><br></div>Philippians 1;3-6<div><br></div><div><b>3. &nbsp;I thank my God in all my remembrance of you, &nbsp;</b></div><div><b>4. &nbsp;always in every prayer of mine for you all making my prayer with joy,</b></div><div><b>5. &nbsp;thankful for your partnership in the gospel from this day until now.</b></div><div><b>6. &nbsp;And I am sure that he who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Christ Jesus.</b></div><div><b><br></b></div><div>A <i>“partnership” </i>is a shared business endeavor&nbsp;with two&nbsp;or more parties, who together have invested into the cost of operating the business, and share in its profits.</div><div><br></div><div>Scripture gives us an insight into how God’s business is entered into, Christ our Lord has promised:</div><div><i>“Truly, I say to you, whatever you bind on earth shall be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven. &nbsp;Again I say to you, if two of you agree on earth about anything they ask, it will be done for them by my Father in heaven. &nbsp;For where two or three are gathered in my name, there am I in the midst of them.” &nbsp;</i>(Matthew 18;18-20)</div><div><br></div><div>The ‘business partnership’ we have entered into is&nbsp;with Jesus and one another&nbsp;is the proclamation of the Gospel of Christ. &nbsp;We the Church,&nbsp;with our Lord, proclaim both Law and Gospel, the gift of the&nbsp;forgiving of sins and eternal life along with&nbsp;the coming Judgement&nbsp;of Christ&nbsp;against all unbelief.</div><div><br></div><div>However, the conducting of this divine work has an extra added benefit. &nbsp;As we in humble faith and in the name of Jesus do this business proclaiming this Word of Promise, we discover, God himself is at work in us. &nbsp;His work is to conform us to the very image of Christ in perfect love and oneness with each other and our Lord. &nbsp;This is an ongoing work which will not be completed until the return of Jesus on the Last Day, called <i>“the Day&nbsp;of&nbsp;Jesus Christ.” </i>(v. 6)</div><div>&nbsp;</div><div>This is the day of a new heaven and a new earth. &nbsp;This newness has begun to work in each of us who are baptized into Christ. &nbsp;This is not a partnership, it is God’s doing in us alone, by Word and Holy Spirit. &nbsp;He is conforming us to the very image of Jesus in his own perfection and love.</div><div><br></div><div>Such perfection and oneness with Christ is what both the heart of God and our own hearts long for. &nbsp;It is the great love story of the Universe, the romance of heaven.</div><div><br></div><div>Prayer: &nbsp;Merciful Heavenly Father, bless us to be about the work you have given us to share in, and continue your own blessed work in us, we pray in Jesus, Amen.</div><div><br></div><div><br></div><div>Love,</div><div>Dad,Baba/Eric</div><div>Grandpa Pickle Pastor</div><div>“A chapter a day, every day, progressively, be transformed, ‘soak’ in the living Word. &nbsp;God’s Word is our habitation, and we are His.”</div><div><br></div><div><br><br><div><a href="https://mail.onelink.me/107872968?pid=nativeplacement&amp;c=Global_Acquisition_YMktg_315_Internal_EmailSignature&amp;af_sub1=Acquisition&amp;af_sub2=Global_YMktg&amp;af_sub3=&amp;af_sub4=100000604&amp;af_sub5=EmailSignature__Static_" rel="nofollow" target="_blank"></a><br></div></div></div></div></div></body></html>
