<html><head></head><body><div><div><div><div><br></div>Philippians 1;25-28<div><br></div><div><b>25. &nbsp;Convinced of this, I know that I shall remain and continue with you all, for your progress and joy in the faith,</b></div><div><b>26. &nbsp;so that in me you may have ample cause to glory in Christ Jesus, because of my coming to you again.</b></div><div><b>27. &nbsp;Only let your manner of life be worthy of the gospel of Christ, so that whether I come and see you or am absent, I may hear of you that you stand firm in one spirit, with one mind striving side by side for the faith of the gospel,&nbsp;</b></div><div><b>28. &nbsp;and not frightened in anything by your opponents. &nbsp;This is a clear omen to them of their destruction, but of your salvation, and that from God.</b></div><div><br></div><div>Paul was convinced that he would gain his freedom and be able to revisit the Believers in Philippi.</div><div>Yet, he knew he could be wrong, as we read on in verse 27, where he acknowledged the real possibility that he could be prevented by continued imprisonment and death.</div><div><br></div><div>When Paul says, <i>“so that in me you may have ample cause to glory in Christ Jesus” </i>he hopes/believes he will be released,&nbsp;(just like Peter was miraculously set free from prison in Jerusalem&nbsp;by the angel and there was great joy for the Believers in that). &nbsp;Yet, history suggests Paul was killed there in Rome and never returned to Philippi.</div><div><br></div><div>Every pastor yearns for his flock(s). &nbsp;But, we all know we are not the only teacher who cares about them and their <i>“progress and joy&nbsp;in the faith. &nbsp; </i>Jesus himself has promised by the Holy Spirit, <i>“Lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” </i>(Matthew 28;20) &nbsp;In the end, we must entrust our Brethren,&nbsp;those whom we love, into the care of the Lord. &nbsp;<i>“It is the Spirit that gives life, the flesh is of no avail, the words I have spoken to you <u>are</u>&nbsp;Spirit and life.” &nbsp;</i>(John 6;63)</div><div><br></div><div>Paul appeals to us all to <i>“stand firm in <u>one spirit,</u>&nbsp;with <u>one Mind</u>&nbsp;striving <u>together</u>&nbsp;side by side <u>for the faith of the gospel.</u>” &nbsp;</i>(v. 27) &nbsp;This is the Church,&nbsp;supernaturally, meta-physically, abiding by faith in Christ Jesus who is indwelling us,&nbsp;his Body/Bride, inspiring Her/us to live fearlessly, proclaiming with lives of faithful worship, good works, humility, and sacrificial&nbsp;devotion, the Good News of our&nbsp;eternal life <u>in Christ Jesus</u><span>.</span></div><div><br></div><div>The fearlessness of the Church&nbsp;is the <i>“m</i><i>anifestation of the manifold&nbsp;wisdom of God to the devil and all his unclean demons”. &nbsp;</i>(see, Ephesians 3;8-13)</div><div><br></div><div>Prayer: &nbsp;O most merciful Father, who abundantly provides us with all we need to live out our eternal life here in this time and place through Jesus Christ; grant us grace to so love You and the new life You have given us in Christ, that no threatening clouds ever dim the joy and light of Christ shining out from us Your own dear children. &nbsp;In Jesus we pray, Amen.”</div><div><br></div><div>Love,</div><div>Dad/Baba/Eric</div><div>Grandpa Pickle Pastor</div><div>“A chapter a day, every day, progressively, be transformed, ‘soak’ in the living Word. &nbsp;God’s Word is our habitation, and we are His.”</div><div><br></div><div><br></div><div><br></div><div><div><a href="https://mail.onelink.me/107872968?pid=nativeplacement&amp;c=Global_Acquisition_YMktg_315_Internal_EmailSignature&amp;af_sub1=Acquisition&amp;af_sub2=Global_YMktg&amp;af_sub3=&amp;af_sub4=100000604&amp;af_sub5=EmailSignature__Static_" rel="nofollow" target="_blank"></a><br></div></div></div></div></div></body></html>
