And in the morning, a great while before day, he rose and went out to a lonely place, and there he prayed.</b></div><div><br></div><div>The Church has been given the ‘Great Commission’ to <i>“Go, and make disciples of all nations”.</i></div><div>(Matthew 28;19&amp;20)</div><div><br></div><div>At the very heart of the proclamation of the gospel is ‘<u>the name of Jesus of Nazareth, the Christ of God’</u></div><div><u><br></u></div><div>Our Lord desires that this Holy Ministry<span>&nbsp;be done by cleansed, Holy&nbsp;Spirit led, Believers. &nbsp;Would you want to drink&nbsp;pure milk from out of a septic tank? &nbsp;Of course not! &nbsp; Jesus has no need of being served by unclean spirits who dare to speak&nbsp;his name.</span><span></span></div><div><span><br></span></div><div><span>It is from out of&nbsp;us, the Church, (those who have been cleansed and&nbsp;made into purified vessels), that the holy name of Jesus is to flow. &nbsp;This is our God given honor, to proclaim to the world who Jesus is, &nbsp;<i>“The Holy One, of God.”</i></span></div><div><span><i><br></i></span></div><div><span>Getting out, away from people, is also part of our God given ministry. &nbsp;Jesus shows this to his&nbsp;disciples &nbsp;by getting up very early, going to a lonely place, and entering into prayer. &nbsp;Alone in Creation we have no distractions, but are able to focus our&nbsp;thoughts (hearts) upon doing the Father’s will in the day before us. &nbsp;In lonely places, we are not alone, when we begin our prayers by making the sign of the cross and saying, “In the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, Amen.” &nbsp;We are acknowledging to our own souls&nbsp;that we are in the Father’s presence, through the Son, with hearts, mind, and lips moving with the Holy Spirit of God.&nbsp;</span></div><div><span><br></span></div><div>Prayer at the end of the day is of course also&nbsp;necessary, and should always include petitions for forgiveness for those things in which we failed in,&nbsp;according to&nbsp;the Father’s will. &nbsp;These <span>are both</span>&nbsp;our sins of omission and of commission. &nbsp;The Lord’s Pray at the end of the day includes this seeking of forgiveness.</div><div><br></div><div>Any prayer offered in repentant faith is pleasing to the Father, but prayers which begin with thanks and also descriptions of God and His mercies to us are most refreshing to our souls and spirits. &nbsp;</div><div><br></div><div>Prayers which are only a spiritual grocery list of what we want the Father to give us are incomplete and lack gratitude.</div><div><br></div><div>Prayers which include thanksgivings, especially when we are enduring&nbsp;attack or are suffering temptations to fear or be&nbsp;resentful,&nbsp;are a&nbsp;<span>sermon to our own soul and spirit, an exercise of our faith,&nbsp;by&nbsp;which God&nbsp;releases spiritual endorphins into our entire being.</span><span>&nbsp;</span></div><div><span><br></span></div><div><span>This is literally how our spirits are strengthened, and we have courage and energy to serve the Lord in the day before us, or close our eyes in His&nbsp;peace at the end of the day.</span></div><div><span><br></span></div><div><span>Prayer: &nbsp;O Most Merciful Heavenly Father, we praise you that we have been cleansed and made fit for proclaiming the name of Jesus. &nbsp;Grant us grace today to remember our mission in all that we do. &nbsp;In Jesus name, we pray, Amen.</span></div><div><span><br></span></div><div><span>Love,&nbsp;</span></div><div><span>Dad/Baba/Eric</span></div><div><span>Grandpa Pickle Pastor</span></div><div><span>“A chapter a day, every day, progressively, be transformed, “‘soak’ in the living Word. &nbsp;&nbsp;</span></div><div><span>God’s Word is our habitation, and we are His.”</span></div><div><br><div><a href="https://mail.onelink.me/107872968?pid=nativeplacement&amp;c=Global_Acquisition_YMktg_315_Internal_EmailSignature&amp;af_sub1=Acquisition&amp;af_sub2=Global_YMktg&amp;af_sub3=&amp;af_sub4=100000604&amp;af_sub5=EmailSignature__Static_" rel="nofollow" target="_blank"></a><br></div></div></div></div></div></body></html>
