<html><head></head><body><div><div><div><div><br></div>Mark 3;9-12<div><b>9. &nbsp;And he told his disciples to have a boat ready for him because of the crowd, lest they should crush him;</b></div><div><b>10. &nbsp;for he had healed many, so that all who had diseases pressed upon him to touch Him.</b></div><div><b>11. &nbsp;And whenever the unclean spirits beheld him, they fell down before him and cried out, “You are the Son of God.”</b></div><div><b>12. &nbsp;And he strictly ordered them not to make him known.</b></div><div><br></div><div>Jesus indeed desires for us and all the world&nbsp;to know him as <i>“the Son of God”. &nbsp;</i></div><div><br></div><div>To be called <i>“the Son of God”</i>&nbsp;is to declare that he is himself God in flesh, for the Father gives Jesus all authority. Jesus himself declared,</div><div><i>“All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me.” &nbsp;</i>(Matthew 28;18) also, <i>“The Father judges no one, but has given all judgement to the Son, that all may honor the Son, even as they Honor the Father. &nbsp;He who does not honor the Son does not honor the Father who sent him.” &nbsp;</i>(John 5;22&amp;23)</div><div><br></div><div>It is not that Jesus did not want the people to know him, he did. &nbsp;But, the work of ministry, proclaiming who Jesus is and all that He&nbsp;has done and continues to do for us, belongs to forgiven, cleansed, and indwelt Believers, not to demonic,&nbsp;unclean spirits.</div><div><br></div><div>&nbsp; Jesus very rapidly had become&nbsp;famous, (but not as the Son of God come to save us from our sin, and call us into himself), but rather he had become famous as a healer of sick bodies. &nbsp;Jesus does and will indeed heal us all in his perfect time, but it is our soul and spirit, our mind and heart which most need healing. &nbsp;</div><div><br></div><div>A healthy body with a sin sick soul is not pleasing to God. &nbsp;Jesus actually had to separate himself from the multitudes. &nbsp;The crowds interfered with his teaching of the disciples and that was his priority leading up to his atoning sacrifice for us.</div><div><br></div><div>Being taught ourselves and teaching&nbsp;others should&nbsp;be our highest calling as well.&nbsp;&nbsp;Christ the great teacher dwells in us, drawing us to the Word, so that we may be taught by the Holy Spirit whom Jesus has promised will lead us into all the truth. &nbsp;(see, John 16;13).&nbsp;<span>As we humbly, repentantly, hear, read, mark, learn, and inwardly digest the Word, we are sitting at Jesus feet, we are walking the roads of Galilee</span><span>, and&nbsp;</span><span>we are with him in the boat.</span></div><div><br></div><div>Prayer: &nbsp;Merciful Father, we praise you that You have given us the Holy Scriptures for our learning. &nbsp;Grant us grace to separate ourselves unto You through the voice of our Savior,&nbsp;Good Shepherd, Teacher, and&nbsp;Lord. &nbsp;As we are taught, bless us to boldly declare, ‘Jesus is the Son of God!’ &nbsp;In Jesus we pray, Amen</div><div><br></div><div>Love,</div><div>Dad/Baba/Eric</div><div>Grandpa Pickle Pastor</div><div>“A chapter a day, every day, progressively, be transformed, ‘soak’ in the living Word. &nbsp;God’s Word is our habitation, and we are His.”</div><div><br><br><br><div><a href="https://mail.onelink.me/107872968?pid=nativeplacement&amp;c=Global_Acquisition_YMktg_315_Internal_EmailSignature&amp;af_sub1=Acquisition&amp;af_sub2=Global_YMktg&amp;af_sub3=&amp;af_sub4=100000604&amp;af_sub5=EmailSignature__Static_" rel="nofollow" target="_blank"></a><br></div></div></div></div></div></body></html>
