<html><head></head><body><div><div><div><div><br></div>Mark 4;20<div><br></div><div><b>20. &nbsp;But those that were sown upon good soil are the ones who hear the Word and accept it and bear fruit, thirtyfold and sixtyfold and a hundredfold.</b></div><div><b><br></b></div><div>To <i>“hear the Word”</i>&nbsp; and &nbsp;<i>‘accept it” &nbsp;</i>is&nbsp;receiving a ‘living thing’ into your mind, heart, soul, and spirit.</div><div><br></div><div>This <i>“living and active” </i>(Hebrews 4;12)&nbsp;Word dwells within us as a ‘house guest’ whom we want to never leave us.</div><div>He brings with Him, His own schedule, priorities, routines, attire, voice, heart, love, and purposes.</div><div>We love Him and accommodate Him. &nbsp;We adjust our entire lives to conform to His life.</div><div>Our own will becomes a will to&nbsp;do His will. &nbsp;We desire to partake of His&nbsp;work, and become one with Him<span>. &nbsp;He uses us as His own dwelling place and instrument, and we are joyous in this union.</span></div><div><span><br></span></div><div><span>We discover that the Word which enters us is Jesus Christ by the Holy Spirit, and that His will is to do the will of our Father. &nbsp;This Word purifies us, sanctifies us, and presents us to Himself as His own&nbsp;holy Bride. &nbsp;We are of His own flesh and blood, His own brethren, sons of the Father.</span></div><div><span><br></span></div><div><span>The enduring <i>“fruit”</i>&nbsp;we bear is born of His seed, the Word, and together with Jesus we&nbsp;plant&nbsp;in the hearts, minds, souls, and spirits of many&nbsp;others. &nbsp;As the Father has sent Jesus, so now He has sent us. &nbsp;(John 20;21).&nbsp;</span><span>We become </span><i>“partakers of the divine nature” </i><span>(2 Peter 1;3&amp;4)</span></div><div><span><br></span></div><div><span>Prayer: &nbsp;O most merciful Father, whose work it is to unite all things together in Christ; &nbsp;therefore, You have given&nbsp;us the Holy Scriptures for our learning.&nbsp;</span><span>&nbsp;Grant that we would faithfully, hear them, read, mark, learn, and inwardly digest them, take&nbsp;them to heart, be strengthened and comforted by them, and ever&nbsp;cling to them in the blessed hope of everlasting life. &nbsp;Make us to be fit partakers of the divine nature we pray,&nbsp;through Jesus Christ, our Lord who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, ever one God, now and forever. To “hear the Word”  and  ‘accept it”  is receiving a ‘living thing’ into your mind, heart, soul, and spirit.
