Be still!” &nbsp;And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm.</b></div><div><b>40. &nbsp;He said to them, “Why are&nbsp;you afraid? Have you no faith?”</b></div><div><b>41. &nbsp;And they were filled with awe, and said to one another, “Who is this, that even wind and sea obey him?”</b></div><div><b><br></b></div><div>Jesus truly meant it when he asked his disciples, “Why are you afraid?”</div><div><br></div><div>We are more than earth-born and earth-bound creatures. &nbsp;We are a spiritual creation of God, with immortal souls that will live forever with Him,&nbsp;either in peace and joy with our Lord Jesus, or separated from Him in eternal sorrow and suffering in Hell, from which there is no escape.</div><div><br></div><div>No ’thing or circumstance’&nbsp;in this Creation<span>&nbsp;should ever frighten us. &nbsp;For the God of Creation is our Greater Reality. &nbsp;When Moses said to&nbsp;God in the burning bush, <i>“If I come to the people of Israel and say to them, ‘The God of your fathers has sent me to you’ and they ask me, ‘What is his name?’ What shall I say to them? &nbsp;God said to Moses, “I AM WHO I AM” And he said, “Say to the people ‘I AM has sent me to you.’”</i></span></div><div><br></div><div>God is teaching Moses, the people of Israel, and us, that He is the true&nbsp;‘Greatest Reality.’ &nbsp;He is Lord of all Creation, the Creator of every wind and wave. &nbsp;Every circumstance in this Creation, God rules over. &nbsp;Every circumstance of your life right now is under God’s perfect, merciful, loving control. &nbsp;Do you believe it?&nbsp;&nbsp; Is your faith great enough to give him thanks for everything, and to not be afraid? &nbsp;</div><div><br></div><div>His promise to the disciples and to us is, <i>“Lo, I AM&nbsp;with you always, even to the end of the age.”&nbsp;</i></div><div>(Matthew 28;20) &nbsp;The disciples forgot that Jesus had said to them, <i>“Let us go across&nbsp;to the other side.”</i><i></i></div><div>When God speaks, His Word, <u>never</u>&nbsp;fails.</div><div><br></div><div>When Jesus&nbsp;says, “<i>Who&nbsp;ever believes in Him,&nbsp;will not perish, but shall have eternal life.” &nbsp;</i>(John 3;16) &nbsp;He is teaching us that there is absolutely nothing in this creation which can harm us, or stop God from fulfilling His promise to us. &nbsp;We too are with Him, crossing.</div><div><br></div><div>Did Jesus sleep on the cushion in the boat, and allow the boat to fill with water as the wind roared and the waves crashed upon them, <u>on purpose?</u>&nbsp; Yes! &nbsp;He wanted them to understand that all things are under His authority, he is Lord over&nbsp;everything. &nbsp;He wanted his disciple and you and me to know that He is the Lord of all Creation, and all things must obey Him. &nbsp;The storms of our lives are allowed for our good.</div><div><br></div><div>What ever the circumstances of your life right now, know this (you who believe in Him). &nbsp;He is with you, the Greater Reality, and with Him, we are passing through the storms of this life. &nbsp;We pass through them<span>&nbsp;without fear. Fearfulness is not an option for those who walk by the Spirit in faith in Jesus.  Take not your peace from this world, by faith, see beyond every storm.  This applies also to those whom we love, and are tempted to be fearful over!  His good will is being done.  Faith sees through the storm, peace.
