<html><head></head><body><div><div><div><div><br></div>Mark 5:25-34<div><br></div><div><b>25. &nbsp;And there was a woman who had had a flow of blood for twelve years,</b></div><div><b>26. &nbsp;and who had suffered much under many physicians, and spent all that she had, and was no better but rather grew worse.</b></div><div><b>27. &nbsp;She had heard reports about Jesus, and came up behind him in the crowd and touched his garment.</b></div><div><b>28. &nbsp;For she said, “If I touch even his garments, I shall be made well.”</b></div><div><b>29. &nbsp;And immediately the hemorrhage ceased; and she felt in her body that she was healed of her disease.</b></div><div><b>30. &nbsp;And Jesus, perceiving in his himself that power had gone forth from him, immediately turned about in the crowd, and said, “Who touched my garments?”</b></div><div><b>31. &nbsp;And his disciples said to him, “You see the crowd pressing around you, and yet you say, ‘Who touched me?’”</b></div><div><b>32. &nbsp;And he looked around to see who had done it.</b></div><div><b>33. &nbsp;But the woman, knowing what had been done to her, came in fear and trembling and fell down before him, and told him the whole truth.</b></div><div><b>34. &nbsp;And he said to her, “Daughter, your faith has made you well; go in peace, and be healed of your disease.”</b></div><div><b><br></b></div><div>Reading a passage like this one can be difficult for those of us who suffer painful&nbsp;physical disabilities, or great sufferings of soul and spirit over loved ones who are apart from us and&nbsp;the&nbsp;Life of&nbsp;walking by the Spirit&nbsp;through their&nbsp;carnality or unbelief.</div><div><br></div><div>Many false teachings arise from a passage such as this, which Satan actually uses to tempt us to doubt God’s goodness or&nbsp;whether we have true faith.&nbsp; &nbsp;</div><div><br></div><div>False teachers will use a passage such as this and claim:</div><div> “If your faith is&nbsp;strong enough, like the woman with the flow of blood, you too can be healed. &nbsp;The reason you are still suffering, is because you do not believe in Jesus enough for Him&nbsp;to heal you.” &nbsp;</div><div><br></div><div>Such a false teaching is most damnable, wicked, and&nbsp;evil. &nbsp;Such false teaching as this has made shipwreck of many’s faith. &nbsp;For in this earthly life, the Lord our God allows us to endure all manner of&nbsp;sufferings of&nbsp;body, soul,&nbsp;spirit, mind and heart. &nbsp;Enduring sufferings with faith and patience&nbsp;is actually a necessary part of God’s perfect will for his children. &nbsp;It leads us to the greatest expression of faith of all; the prayer, <i>“Thy will be done.” &nbsp;</i>(The same prayer Jesus&nbsp;Christ our Lord&nbsp;prayed as he suffered in the Garden of Gethsemane) &nbsp;There is no greater faith than to trust ourselves into&nbsp;God’s perfect will and timing for the promised perfect bodies, minds, souls and spirits, which <u>will be ours<i>&nbsp;in the resurrection.</i></u></div><div><br></div><div><u><i></i></u>God inspired the Apostle Paul to write concerning this saying, “<i>When we cry ‘Abba! Father!’&nbsp;&nbsp;it is the Spirit himself</i><i>&nbsp;</i><span>(indwelling&nbsp;us)&nbsp;</span><i>bearing witness with our spirit, that we <u>are</u>&nbsp;children of God, and if children, then heirs, heirs of God and <u>fellow heirs with Christ, provided we suffer with him</u>&nbsp;in order that we be glorified with him.” &nbsp;</i><span>(Romans 8;15b-17)</span></div><div><span><br></span></div><div><span>Suffering with Christ amounts to nothing more or less than simply&nbsp;trusting in the will of the Father, even when our own will seems right and good to us. &nbsp;If God allows suffering into our lives, whether it be physical, mental,&nbsp;or&nbsp;emotional, we may be certain that the Father is using it for our own good,&nbsp;for His glory, and the building of His kingdom in others. &nbsp;</span></div><div><span><br></span></div><div><span>Miraculous healings are still happening, when and where the Lord our God wills. &nbsp;God also works through physicians, therapists&nbsp;of mind and body,&nbsp;modern medicine, prayer,&nbsp;wholistic medicines, and people with the gift of&nbsp;healing,&nbsp;but <u>always and only</u>&nbsp;when and where He wills.</span></div><div><span><br></span></div><div><span>Peace with suffering, comes to those who trust God’s goodness in all things, His will and perfect timing.</span></div><div><span>Giving thanks in every circumstance is great faith. &nbsp;So <u>never</u>&nbsp;let anyone tell you your faith is not good enough to be healed! &nbsp; Remember Paul, through whom God miraculously&nbsp;healed many, cast out demons, and raised the dead (Acts 20;9-12) himself was told by the Lord, (when he prayed for his <i>“thorn in the flesh&nbsp;to be taken from him”)&nbsp;</i>in answer to his request; <i>“My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” &nbsp;</i>(2 Corinthians 12;7-10)<u></u></span></div><div><span><br></span></div><div><span>Miraculous healings and other signs are given us by God as a witness to Jesus as the&nbsp;Christ, and the truth of the Word of God. &nbsp;Never allow your faith to be attacked because your sufferings continue. &nbsp;<i>“But this I call to mind, and therefore I have hope: The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases, his mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is Thy faithfulness. &nbsp;The LORD is my portion says my soul, ‘therefore I will hope in Him.’ &nbsp;The LORD is good to those who wait for Him, to the soul that seeks Him. &nbsp;It is good that one should wait quietly for the salvation of the LORD.” &nbsp; &nbsp;</i></span><span>(Lamentations </span><span>3;21-26), (see also Romans 8;18-39)</span></div><div><span><br></span></div><div><span>Never give up hope, never stop praying. &nbsp;Suffering in faith is the highest form of worship. &nbsp;It is what Jesus did on the cross. &nbsp;</span></div><div><span><br></span></div><div><span>Prayer: &nbsp;Our Father who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name, thy kingdom come, <u>thy will</u>&nbsp;be done. &nbsp;Abba! Reading a passage like this one can be difficult for those of us who suffer painful physical disabilities, or great sufferings of soul and spirit over loved ones who are apart from us and the Life of walking by the Spirit through their carnality or unbelief.
Many false teachings arise from a passage such as this, which Satan actually uses to tempt us to doubt God’s goodness or whether we have true faith.   
False teachers will use a passage such as this and claim: “If your faith is strong enough, like the woman with the flow of blood, you too can be healed.  The reason you are still suffering, is because you do not believe in Jesus enough for Him to heal you.”
