<html><head></head><body><div><div><div><div><br></div>Mark 12;35-37<div><br></div><div><b>35. &nbsp;And as Jesus taught in the temple, he said, “How can the scribes say that the Christ is the son of &nbsp;David?</b></div><div><b>36. &nbsp;David himself, inspired by the Holy Spirit, declared, ‘The Lord said to my Lord, Sit at my right hand, till I put thy enemies under thy feet.’</b></div><div><b>37. &nbsp;David himself calls him&nbsp;Lord; so how is he his son?” And the great throng heard him gladly.</b></div><div><b><br></b></div><div>By this question, Jesus is trying to get us all to leave our ‘right’ minds and enter His own. &nbsp;In order to behold the<span>&nbsp;miracle of what is called the&nbsp;‘Divine Un</span><span>ion’.</span></div><div>For Jesus is both true man, born of the Virgin Mary,&nbsp;(a descendant of the house of David according to the flesh.). And, also true God, begotten of the Father from eternity. &nbsp;</div><div><br></div><div>‘Divine Union,’ means,&nbsp;‘true God and&nbsp;true man united.’ &nbsp;Not, half God and half man, but fully God and fully man together as One&nbsp;in the Person Jesus Christ, all at the same time.</div><div><br></div><div>Such thinking is not Aristotelian logic. &nbsp;Modern scientific deductive reasoning depends on everything in creation obeying&nbsp;natural, predictable laws, which inform us about the&nbsp;realities of how the universe works.</div><div><br></div><div>Aristotelian logics&nbsp;says that,&nbsp;&nbsp;‘Bread and&nbsp;wine are not flesh and blood.’ &nbsp;&nbsp;</div><div>Aristotelian logic says, ‘Bread is not&nbsp;living, and wine cannot be used in an IV.’</div><div><br></div><div>However, Jesus says, <i>“I am the living bread which came down from heaven; if anyone eats of&nbsp;this bread, he will live forever; and the bread which I shall give for the life of the world is my flesh.” &nbsp;</i>(John 6;51)</div><div><br></div><div>When Jesus says, <i>“For my flesh is food indeed, and my blood is drink indeed. &nbsp;He who eats my flesh and drinks my blood abides in me and I in him.” &nbsp;</i>(John 6;55&amp;56) &nbsp;He is presenting us with the greater reality of God, who is ‘the Great I AM.’ &nbsp; &nbsp;God’s truth, His reality, transcends&nbsp;natural law. &nbsp;God’s truth shatters Aristotelian logic. &nbsp;</div><div><br></div><div>Therefore, ‘the Christ’ <u>can</u>&nbsp;be both David’s Son <u>and</u>&nbsp;David’s Lord, all at the same time, t<span>rue God and true man together as One.</span></div><div><span><br></span></div><div><span>But, in order to embrace this divine truth, we must escape the limits of rational dependence upon human reasoning, (what makes ‘sense’ to us). &nbsp;We, by the gift of faith,&nbsp;must enter into God’s reality, the reality of the Great I AM, and affirm that, <i>“With God, nothing shall be impossible.” &nbsp;</i>(Luke 1;37)</span></div><div><span><br></span></div><div><span>Little children have the&nbsp;wonderful&nbsp;capacity to escape Aristotelian logic. &nbsp;They embrace by faith many things they do not understand. &nbsp;I believe that is why John teaches us that those who are <i>“born of God”</i>&nbsp;are ones to whom, <i>“power to become children of God” &nbsp;</i>has been given. &nbsp; (John 1;12&amp;13)<i></i></span></div><div><span><br></span></div><div><span>And, this is why Jesus teaches, <i>“Truly, I say to you, unless you turn and become like chidren, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven. &nbsp;Whoever humbles himself like this child,</i></span><i>&nbsp;he is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven.” &nbsp;</i><span>(Matthew 18;3&amp;4)</span></div><div><span><br></span></div><div><span>When Jesus asked his question about ‘Whose son is the Christ?’ &nbsp;He was opening the door for us all to escape again into being the children of God, set free from the limits of human reasoning.</span></div><div><span><br></span></div><div><span>Prayer: &nbsp;Merciful Father, thank you for restoring to us the joy of being Your own dear children. &nbsp;With You, nothing shall be impossible, even our eternal salvation and perfect union into You through Jesus by the Spirit. &nbsp;In Jesus we pray, Amen.</span></div><div><span><br></span></div><div><span>Love,</span></div><div><span>Dad/Baba/Eric</span></div><div><span>Grandpa Pickle Pastor</span></div><div><span>“A chapter a day, every day, progressively, be transformed, ‘soak’ in the living Word. &nbsp;God’s Word is our habitation, and we are His.”</span></div><div><i><br></i></div><div><i><br></i></div><div><br><br><div><a href="https://mail.onelink.me/107872968?pid=nativeplacement&amp;c=Global_Acquisition_YMktg_315_Internal_EmailSignature&amp;af_sub1=Acquisition&amp;af_sub2=Global_YMktg&amp;af_sub3=&amp;af_sub4=100000604&amp;af_sub5=EmailSignature__Static_" rel="nofollow" target="_blank"></a><br></div></div></div></div></div></body></html>

And, this is why Jesus teaches, “Truly, I say to you, unless you turn and become like chidren, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven.  Whoever humbles himself like this child, he is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven.”  (Matthew 18;3&4)
