<html><head></head><body><div><div><div><div><br></div>Mark 13;24-27<div><br></div><div><b>24. &nbsp;“But in those days, after the tribulation, the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light,</b></div><div><b>25. &nbsp;and the stars will be falling from heaven, and the powers in the heavens will be shaken.</b></div><div><b>26. &nbsp;And then they will see the Son of man coming in clouds with great&nbsp;power and glory.</b></div><div><b>27. &nbsp;And then he will send out the angels, and gather his elect from the four winds, from the ends of the earth to the ends of heaven.</b></div><div><b><br></b></div><div>Holy Scripture <u>does not</u>&nbsp;teach a ‘secret rapture’ of all Believers, leaving the Unbelievers with no one to minister the Gospel to them&nbsp;for 1000 years, or some other such span of time, <u>and then,</u>&nbsp;Christ returns at last for the final judgement. &nbsp;This is false doctrine. &nbsp;If you have read or are familiar with the “Left Behind” series or other such writings of these confused false teachers, then be assured, Jesus returns for Judgement upon the living and the dead once. &nbsp;It is at that return of Christ (which we confess in the Apostles and Nicene Creeds) t<span>hat the future will then take place. &nbsp;The final Judgement and the rapture of Believers will all happen at the same time.</span></div><div><span><br></span></div><div><span>The term ‘millennial reign’ of Christ, does not refer to a literal 1000 years following&nbsp;some secret rapture. &nbsp;The number 1000, refers to a full, complete, perfect amount of time, in which we, the Church, joyfully, sacrificially&nbsp;proclaim the Gospel of Jesus, until He returns for Judgement. &nbsp;We are now in the millennial reign of Christ.</span></div><div><span>It may last 10,000 years. &nbsp;The coming of the Son of man for Judgement could be at any time.&nbsp;</span></div><div><span>&nbsp;Jesus said,&nbsp;</span></div><div><span><i>“But of that day and hour, no one knows, not even the angels of Heaven, nor the sun, but the Father only.</i></span></div><div><span><i>As were the days of Noah, so will be the coming of the Son of man. &nbsp;For as in those days before the flood, they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day, when Noah entered the ark,</i></span></div><div><span><i>And they did not know until the flood came and swept them all away, so will be the coming of the son of man.” &nbsp;&nbsp;</i></span></div><div><br></div><div><i>“ For this, we declared to you by the word of the Lord, that we who are alive, who are left until the coming of the Lord, shall not proceeded those who have fallen asleep. &nbsp;For the Lord himself will descend from heaven, with a cry of command, with the archangels call, and with the sound of the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first; &nbsp;Then we who are alive, who are left, shall be&nbsp;caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air; and so we shall always be with the Lord. Therefore comfort one another with these words.” &nbsp;</i>(1 Thessalonians 4;15-18)</div><div><br></div><div><i>“When the Son of Man comes in his glory, and all the angels with him, then he will sit on his glorious throne. Before him will be gathered all the nations, and he will separate them one from another as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats, And he will place the sheep at his right hand, but the goats at the left. Then the king will say to those at his right hand, ‘Come you who are&nbsp;blessed by&nbsp;my father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world; for I was hungry, and you gave me food, I was thirsty, and you gave me drink, I was a stranger, and you welcomed me, I was naked, and you clothed me, I was sick and you visited me, I was in prison and you came to me.’&nbsp;</i></div><div><i>&nbsp; Then the righteous will answer him, ‘Lord when did we see thee&nbsp;hungry and feed thee, or thirsty and give thee&nbsp;drink? &nbsp;And when did we see thee a stranger and welcome thee, or naked and clothe thee?
