<html><head></head><body><div><div><div><div><br></div>Mark 14;17-21<div><br></div><div><b>17. &nbsp;And when it was evening, he came with the twelve.</b></div><div><b>18. &nbsp;And as they were at table eating, Jesus said, “Truly, I say to you, one of you will betray me, one who is eating with me.”</b></div><div><b>19. &nbsp;They began to be sorrowful, and to say to him one after another, “Is it I?”</b></div><div><b>20. &nbsp;He said to them, “It is one of the twelve, one who is dipping bread in the same dish with me.</b></div><div><b>21. &nbsp;For the Son of man goes as it is written of him, but woe&nbsp;to that man by whom the Son of man is betrayed! It would have been better for that man if he had not been born.”</b></div><div><b><br></b></div><div>We know whom Jesus is speaking about, he is Judas Iscariot, the one who betrayed Jesus. &nbsp;</div><div>God, as Creator of all things has the perfect and absolute right to judge and condemn all evil. &nbsp;His wrath is total and eternal. &nbsp;It should indeed make our hearts, minds, souls, and spirits tremble with holy fear.</div><div><br></div><div>How terrible to hear Jesus say, <i>“It would have been better for that man if he had not been born.”</i></div><div>In Jesus’ High Priestly Prayer, Jesus refers to Judas Iscariot as, <i>“the son of perdition” </i>&nbsp;meaning, ‘the son of hell”, saying that Judas was <i>“lost and&nbsp;doomed”&nbsp;</i>even while&nbsp;he still lived and&nbsp;walked the earth. &nbsp;He had committed the unforgivable sin, Judas had rejected and blasphemed in his heart&nbsp;the Holy Spirit’s effort to given him repentance and&nbsp;newness of life. &nbsp;His master was Mammon, (a manifestation of Satan), and not Christ.</div><div><i><br></i></div><div>Eternal damnation in hell is so awful it cannot be fully or rightly described. &nbsp;Sometimes hell is described as the <i>“eternal&nbsp;fire prepared for the devil and his angels” &nbsp;</i>(Matthew 25;41) &nbsp;<i>“the Lake of Fire” </i>(Revelation 20;10)<i></i></div><div><i>“the outer darkness, there men will weep and gnash their teeth” &nbsp;</i>(Matthew 22;13) and <i>“where their worm does not die, and the fire is not quenched” </i>(Mark 9;48) the demons asked Jesus, <i>“What have you to do with us, O Son of God?&nbsp;Have you come here&nbsp;to torment us before the time?” &nbsp;</i>(Matthew 8;29) “torment,…in anguish in this flame” (Luke 16;24). <i>“fear him who can destroy both soul and body in hell”. </i>(Matthew 10;28).</div><div>Dante’s Divine Comedy says that the gate of hell bears this inscription, “Lasciate ogne speranza, voi ch’intrate” which translates, ‘Abandon all hope, ye who enter here’.</div><div><br></div><div>For now in this life, you and I&nbsp;still have hope. &nbsp;He is Jesus. &nbsp;We receive&nbsp;our life and protection in Him alone.</div><div>Think of the Bible, God’s Word of life to us as the ‘Open Door’ of escape into Christ. &nbsp;Escape&nbsp;from the wrath of God which is coming. &nbsp;The Word of God imparts the gifts of Repentance and Faith in Jesus&nbsp;for eternal life. &nbsp;Your Bible is there for you to hear, read, mark, learn, and inwardly digest. &nbsp;It is our escape into the very Mind of Christ, and new clean&nbsp;heart and holy&nbsp;will. &nbsp;This world is doomed, it too&nbsp;will perish in flame. &nbsp;</div><div><i><br></i></div><div><i>Jesus said,&nbsp;“Heaven and earth will pass away, but My Words will not pass away.” &nbsp;</i>(Matthew 24;35)</div><div>Jesus said, <i>“Truly, truly, I say to you, he who hears My Word and believes Him who sent Me, has eternal life; he does not come into judgement, but has passed from death to life.” </i>(John 5;24)</div><div><br></div><div>Prayer: &nbsp;Merciful Father, we praise You for the Word of Christ which works deliverance from hell and gives&nbsp;salvation to&nbsp;our souls.&nbsp;&nbsp;Bless us to ever&nbsp;<span>abide in Your Word and be delivered from the eternal torments of the flames&nbsp;of hell. &nbsp;We pray in Jesus, Amen.</span></div><div><br></div><div>Love,</div><div>Dad/Baba/Eric</div><div>Grandpa Pickle Pastor</div><div>“A chapter a day, every day, progressively, be transformed, ‘soak’ in the living Word. &nbsp;God’s Word is our habitation, and we are His.”<br><br><div><a href="https://mail.onelink.me/107872968?pid=nativeplacement&amp;c=Global_Acquisition_YMktg_315_Internal_EmailSignature&amp;af_sub1=Acquisition&amp;af_sub2=Global_YMktg&amp;af_sub3=&amp;af_sub4=100000604&amp;af_sub5=EmailSignature__Static_" rel="nofollow" target="_blank"></a><br></div></div></div></div></div></body></html>
