<html><head></head><body><div><div><div><div><br></div>Romans 1;22-25<div><br></div><div><br></div><div><b>22. &nbsp;Claiming to be wise, they became fools,</b></div><div><b>23. &nbsp;and exchanged the glory of the immortal God for images, resembling mortal man or birds or animals or reptiles.</b></div><div><b>24. &nbsp;Therefore, God gave them up in the lust of their heart to impurity, to the dishonoring of their bodies among themselves,</b></div><div><b>25. &nbsp;because they exchange the truth about God for a lie and worship and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever! Amen.</b></div><div><i><br></i></div><div>Man inherits his sin-nature from Adam, but our sin is not just a condition, it is our own personal dysfunction, it is a personal rejection of God and His rightful authority over us.</div><div><br></div><div>&nbsp;God has created man in His own glorious&nbsp;image, meaning, to be His offspring, and extension of Himself.&nbsp;</div><div>Man was made to find true, fullness of life in perfect communion with God. &nbsp;We are by design and by the witness of creation around us indebted to our Creator. &nbsp;Yet, we as a race refuse to acknowledge our debt.</div><div><br></div><div>We claim ownership of our bodies, breath, space, and time. &nbsp;These things belong to God.&nbsp;</div><div>We lust after our own will and passion, instead of zealously acknowledging we have no good apart from&nbsp;God. &nbsp;No wonder God gives us up to suffer to consequences of our own personal&nbsp;selfish rebellion.</div><div><br></div><div>In so doing, we gain a foretaste of Hell. &nbsp;Isolation, loneliness, separation, fear, angers, these things belong to&nbsp;damnation. &nbsp;These things are in fact a description of death itself.&nbsp;</div><div><br></div><div>Even though we suffer from our self-serving, we persist in this darkness. &nbsp;</div><div><br></div><div>Paul points us directly to impurity,&nbsp;infidelity, and&nbsp;homosexuality as the first consequences of our rejection of God and the order He has surrounded us with in Creation. &nbsp;These things amount&nbsp;to death at work in both body and soul.</div><div><br></div><div>Prayer: &nbsp;Merciful Father, we praise You for the Light of Life you have revealed to us in our prisons&nbsp;of sin, Jesus, the Word made flesh. &nbsp; Grant us to by the Spirit, put to death the deeds of the body and walk by the same Spirit in the Light of&nbsp;Christ, revealed to us through Your living Word. &nbsp;In Jesus we pray, Amen.</div><div><br></div><div>Love,</div><div>Dad/Baba/Eric</div><div>Grandpa Pickle Pastor</div><div>“A chapter a day, every day, progressively, be transformed, ‘soak’ in the living Word. &nbsp;God’s Word is our habitation, and we are His.”</div><div><br></div><div><br><br><br><div><a href="https://mail.onelink.me/107872968?pid=nativeplacement&amp;c=Global_Acquisition_YMktg_315_Internal_EmailSignature&amp;af_sub1=Acquisition&amp;af_sub2=Global_YMktg&amp;af_sub3=&amp;af_sub4=100000604&amp;af_sub5=EmailSignature__Static_" rel="nofollow" target="_blank"></a><br></div></div></div></div></div></body></html>


Romans 1;22-25

22.  Claiming to be wise, they became fools,23.  and exchanged the glory of the immortal God for images, resembling mortal man or birds or animals or reptiles.24.  Therefore, God gave them up in the lust of their heart to impurity, to the dishonoring of their bodies among themselves,25.  because they exchange the truth about God for a lie and worship and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever! Amen.
