Let God be true, though every man be false, as it is written, “That thou may be justified in thy words, and prevail, when thou art judged.”</b></div><div><b><br></b></div><div><b><br></b></div><div>The Law and the Prophets, given to the Jews, were and&nbsp;remain God’s own unchanging&nbsp;Truth. &nbsp;They are&nbsp;</div><div>perfect. &nbsp;</div><div><br></div><div>However, having been given the <i>“Oracles of God” </i>the Jews like us,&nbsp;retained their sinful nature. &nbsp;They sadly&nbsp;had, and still&nbsp;have (as we do)&nbsp;the capacity and inclination&nbsp;to reject, resist, and&nbsp;rebel, against the Truth of God. &nbsp;Even when they,&nbsp;(and we) attempt to keep the Law, we all fail, we are prisoners to our fallen state.</div><div><br></div><div>God in His faithfulness, love, and&nbsp;mercy saw the lost and hopeless condition of all mankind, and foretold of His plan of Salvation. &nbsp;A plan that would set the prisoners free, praise God!</div><div><br></div><div>God’s prophetic Word foretold even in the Garden of Eden, that <i>“the woman’s Seed would crush the serpents head.” </i>(Genesis 3;15)</div><div><br></div><div>This <i>“Seed of the woman” </i>proclaimed this oracle saying:</div><div><br></div><div>&nbsp; <i>“The Spirit of the Lord GOD&nbsp;is upon me, because the LORD&nbsp;has anointed me, to bring good tidings to the afflicted; he has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to those who are bound; to proclaim the year of the LORD’s&nbsp;favor, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all who mourn; to grant to those who mourn in Zion—to give them a garland instead of ashes, the oil of gladness instead of morning, the mantle of praise instead of a faint spirit; they may be called oaks of righteousness, the planting of the LORD, that he may be glorified. &nbsp;They shall build up the ancient ruins, they shall raise up the former devastation; they shall repair the ruined&nbsp;cities, the devastation of many generations. The Law and the Prophets, given to the Jews, were and remain God’s own unchanging Truth.  They are perfect.
