<html><head></head><body><div><div><div>Romans 3;21&amp;22a<div><br></div><div><b>21. &nbsp;But now the righteousness of God has been manifested apart from the law, although the law and the prophets bear witness to it,</b></div><div><b>22. &nbsp;The righteousness of God through faith in Jesus Christ for all who believe.</b></div><div><b><br></b></div><div>To ‘believe God,’ is perhaps the single best attempt to define what <i>“faith” </i>is.</div><div><br></div><div>Scripture records, <i>“And Abram said, ‘Behold, thou hast given me no offspring; a slave born in my house will be my heir.’ &nbsp;And behold, the word of the LORD came to him, ‘This man shall not be your heir; your own son shall be your heir.’ &nbsp; And he brought him outside and said, ‘Look toward heaven, and number the stars if you are able to number them.’ &nbsp;Then he said to him, ‘So shall your descendants be.’ &nbsp;<b>And he </b><u>believed the LORD:</u><b>&nbsp;and he reckoned it to him as </b><u>righteousness.</u>” &nbsp; </i>(Genesis 15;3-6)</div><div><br></div><div>It is through the gift of faith, whereby we believe in Jesus Christ, that we too become impossibly supernaturally&nbsp;fruitful.</div><div><br></div><div>When Paul writes to us saying, <i>“I can do all things in Christ who strengthens me.” </i>(Philippians 4;13)&nbsp;</div><div>He is teaching us that we with Abram&nbsp;partake&nbsp;in the same divine spiritual&nbsp;moment that was between God and fruitless Abram. &nbsp;We believe the promise of Life in Christ.</div><div><br></div><div>When he writes, <i>“I have been crucified with Christ; it is <u>no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me</u>, and the life I now live in the flesh, I live by faith in the son of God who loved me and gave his life for me.” &nbsp;</i>(Galatians 2;20). Paul is giving us another definition of what our baptism into Christ has done for us. &nbsp;We the old-man have died with Christ to all&nbsp;sin and selfish self-centeredness, and have now been born anew as the indwelt Bride of Christ. &nbsp;Faith believes what the LORD says about our own newness in Christ.</div><div><br></div><div>In Christ, we too become supernaturally fruitful. &nbsp;</div><div><br></div><div>To ‘believe in Jesus Christ’ is not simply accenting intellectually&nbsp;to objective information; (His Incarnation in the womb of the Virgin Mary, holy life,&nbsp;sinless atoning sacrificial&nbsp;death, Easter&nbsp;resurrection, Ascention into heaven, and promised return for Judgment).<br><br>To believe <u>in Jesus Christ</u>&nbsp;is to partake personally, intimately&nbsp;<u>in Him,</u>&nbsp;as a Bride partakes of her Bridegroom.</div><div>The two become One. &nbsp;There is no other way for us to have the righteousness of God and be fruitful except to be <u>in Christ,</u>&nbsp;and for Christ to be <u>in us</u>. &nbsp; (see, John 17;22&amp;23)</div><div><br></div><div>This Oneness is indeed supernaturally fruitful.&nbsp;</div><div><br></div><div>&nbsp;The Light of Life, Jesus Christ, the Word made flesh, now dwells in us,&nbsp;His own&nbsp;cleansed Bride. &nbsp;This Light of Christ manifests itself in Good Works. &nbsp;These Good Works are done&nbsp;<u>not</u>&nbsp;to earn salvation, but to display to&nbsp;this world the indwelling presence of Christ in us. &nbsp;<i>“Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works&nbsp;and give glory to your Father who is in heaven.” &nbsp;</i>(Matthew 5;16)</div><div><br>Just as Abram was given a new name, Abraham, so likewise we too have been re-named,&nbsp;baptized into the Name, Father Son and Holy Spirit, just as a Bride receives her Bridegroom’s own name.</div><div><br></div><div>True holiness is ours as we are in Christ. &nbsp;It is not only a heavenly spiritual accounting, true&nbsp;faith is both death to the old-self and all sin, and&nbsp;true new identity, a&nbsp;newness of life, with supernatural fruitfulness.</div><div><br></div><div>To claim to believe in God, yet remain in our old&nbsp;carnal self-centered sin is eternal death. &nbsp;(see, Romans 8;1-11)</div><div><br></div><div>Prayer: &nbsp;Merciful Father, we praise you for the gift of faith. &nbsp;Bless us to know true faith is living and active, fruitful in Christ. &nbsp;Bless us, Blythe spirit, to put to death the deeds of the body. &nbsp;In Jesus we pray, Amen.&nbsp;</div><div><br></div><div>Love,</div><div>Dad/Baba/Eric</div><div>Grandpa PicklePastor</div><div>“A chapter a day, every day, progressively, be transformed, ‘soak’ in the living Word. &nbsp;The Word of God&nbsp;is our habitation, and we are His.”<br><br><br><br><br><br><br><br><br><br><div><a href="https://mail.onelink.me/107872968?pid=nativeplacement&amp;c=Global_Acquisition_YMktg_315_Internal_EmailSignature&amp;af_sub1=Acquisition&amp;af_sub2=Global_YMktg&amp;af_sub3=&amp;af_sub4=100000604&amp;af_sub5=EmailSignature__Static_" rel="nofollow" target="_blank"></a><br></div></div></div></div></div></body></html>
