<html><head></head><body><div><div><div>Romans 5;18<div><br></div><div><b>18. &nbsp;Then as one man’s trespass led to condemnation for all men, so one man’s act of righteousness leads to acquittal and life for all men.</b></div><div><b><br></b></div><div>We should&nbsp;realize that the sin of Adam was not simply taking a bite of forbidden fruit, no. &nbsp;His sin which brings death to all mankind, begins by him&nbsp;becoming a ‘false teacher’ adding to God’s Word. &nbsp;This is the beginning of mankind’s destruction. &nbsp;This is the Original Sin, despising&nbsp;God’s Word by thinking he could make it better and himself safer by adding to God’s Word.</div><div><span><i><br></i></span></div><div><span><i>“And the LORD God commanded <u>the man</u>, saying, ‘You may&nbsp;freely eat of every tree of the garden; but of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat, for in the day that you eat of it you shall die.’”</i>&nbsp; (Genesis 2;16&amp;17)</span></div><div><span><i><br></i></span></div><div><span>This Command God gave to Adam before God even created Eve. &nbsp;It was Adam’s responsibility to teach Eve.</span></div><div><span>What did he teacher her? &nbsp;Not just the exact command of God, <i>“You shall not <u>eat of it</u>” </i>&nbsp;but sadly, it appears Adam added to God’s Command, telling Eve, <i>“God said, ‘You shall not eat of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, <u>neither shall you&nbsp;</u>&nbsp;<u>touch it,</u>&nbsp;lest you&nbsp;die.’” &nbsp;</i>(Genesis 3;2&amp;3)<i></i></span></div><div><span><i>&nbsp;</i>&nbsp;</span></div><div><span>To think we can create better law than God is ridiculous.&nbsp;&nbsp;</span></div><div><span>By telling Eve, ‘God said, neither shall you touch it, lest you die.’ &nbsp;Adam was already believing he was higher than God and could improve upon God’s Word. &nbsp; What a fool. &nbsp;To this day, Adam’s descendants believe they can despise God’s Word, ignoring it or&nbsp;rewriting it, and thereby&nbsp;eventually transgress it.</span></div><div><span><br></span></div><div><span>If only we believed that our true&nbsp;Life comes&nbsp;only from&nbsp;God’s Word, (and not this world or&nbsp;from ourselves). &nbsp;Why mix deadly gasses with pure oxygen? &nbsp;This is the true sin of Adam, not Eve.</span></div><div><span><br></span></div><div>Paul here describes the entire life&nbsp;of Jesus, His&nbsp;holy conception, (apart from Adam’s sin), His perfect obedience to all of God’s Commands,&nbsp;His sacrificial suffering, and&nbsp;atoning death as, <i>“one man’s act of righteousness.” &nbsp;</i>&nbsp;I would call that a bit of an understatement!</div><div><br></div><div>This one,&nbsp;<i>“Act of righteousness” </i>does <u>NOT</u>&nbsp;just&nbsp;mean we are ‘declared righteous’, (that is&nbsp;what just&nbsp;being <i>“acquitted”&nbsp;</i><span>means).</span></div><div><span><br></span></div><div><span>Christ’s obedience to the Father’s will leads to, <i>“life for all men.”</i>&nbsp; This life, is The LIFE which is found ONLY <u>IN CHRIST.</u>&nbsp; Apart from Christ, we remain in the spiritual death of Adam. &nbsp;When we are baptized <u>into Christ</u>, we become a part&nbsp;of His&nbsp;one single act of righteousness. &nbsp; THE LIFE of Christ and His righteousness continues on in us His Body, the Church, to this day.</span></div><div><span><br></span></div><div><span>As such, the stirrings of perfect holiness have&nbsp;begun to be seen in us. &nbsp;The world sees Christ’s own&nbsp;righteousness, through His indwelling of us, this is our newfound love for the Word and Will of the Father.</span></div><div><span><br></span></div><div><span>Prayer: &nbsp;Merciful Father, by Your Word and Spirit, grant that the world may behold the Light of Life, Christ Jesus in us His Bride, for the two have become one. &nbsp;In Jesus we pray, Amen.&nbsp;</span></div><div><span><br></span></div><div><span>Love,</span></div><div><span>Dad/Baba/Eric/Grandpa Pickle Pastor</span></div><div><span>“A chapter a day, every day, progressively, be transformed, ‘soak’ in the living Word. &nbsp;God’s Word is our habitation, and we, broken-hearted, contrite, believing, forgiven children, are His.”</span></div><div><br><div><a href="https://mail.onelink.me/107872968?pid=nativeplacement&amp;c=Global_Acquisition_YMktg_315_Internal_EmailSignature&amp;af_sub1=Acquisition&amp;af_sub2=Global_YMktg&amp;af_sub3=&amp;af_sub4=100000604&amp;af_sub5=EmailSignature__Static_" rel="nofollow" target="_blank"></a><br></div></div></div></div></div></body></html>

This one, “Act of righteousness” does NOT just mean we are ‘declared righteous’, (that is what just being “acquitted” means).
Christ’s obedience to the Father’s will leads to, “life for all men.”  This life, is The LIFE which is found ONLY IN CHRIST.  Apart from Christ, we remain in the spiritual death of Adam.  When we are baptized into Christ, we become a part of His one single act of righteousness.   THE LIFE of Christ and His righteousness continues on in us His Body, the Church, to this day.
