<html><head></head><body><div><div><div><div><br></div>Romans 5;19-21<div><br></div><div><b>19. &nbsp;For as by one man’s disobedience many were made sinners, so by one man’s obedience many will be made righteous.</b></div><div><b>20. &nbsp;Law came in, to increase the trespass; but where sin increased, grace abounded all the more,</b></div><div><b>21. &nbsp;so that, as sin reigned in death, grace also might reign through righteousness to eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.</b></div><div><b><br></b></div><div>Is it not wonderful that Christ our Lord, by His obedience to the will of the Father (Luke 22;41&amp;42), actually, actively has made us,&nbsp;and&nbsp;is making us righteous!</div><div><br></div><div>As terrible as sin is, God’s grace is greater still. &nbsp;No sin you will ever be guilty of&nbsp;is so awful that God will say, ‘I cannot forgive you,’ if we cry to him for forgiveness in Jesus’ name.<i></i></div><div><br></div><div><i></i>&nbsp;&nbsp;<i>“What then shall we say to this? &nbsp;</i>(Sin and death). <i>If God is for us, who is against us? &nbsp;He who did not&nbsp;spare his only Son but gave him up for us all, will he not also give us all things <u>with him</u>? &nbsp; </i>(Romans 8;31&amp;32)</div><div><br></div><div><i>“For I am sure that neither death, nor life, nor angels, not principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor height, nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to <u>separate us from the love of God which is </u><b>in Christ Jesus</b>&nbsp;</i><i>our Lord.” &nbsp;</i>(Romans 8;38&amp;39) &nbsp; &nbsp;Christ, <u>into</u>&nbsp;Whom we have been baptized,&nbsp;<u>is</u>&nbsp;the loving embrace of God.</div><div><br></div><div><i>“Grace”</i> is here spoken of as <i>“reigned,” </i>&nbsp;(‘reigning’ is the activity of the King, it is&nbsp;He, and His&nbsp;will,&nbsp;ruling,&nbsp;inspiring, compelling&nbsp;us. &nbsp; Grace comes to us in,&nbsp;with, and&nbsp;through,&nbsp;the ‘Person’ (who is&nbsp;the King of kings and Lord of lords), Jesus Christ. &nbsp;Grace is not some gift of God apart from God. &nbsp;Grace comes to us like warmth from an embrace. &nbsp;Christ is delivering the Father’s grace to us through Himself as we have been made&nbsp;one in Him. &nbsp;</div><div><br></div><div>Just remember, we must never separate the ‘gift’ from the ‘Giver!’</div><div><br></div><div>In the same way, <i>“righteousness and eternal life,”</i>&nbsp;are&nbsp;not something we create or attain, they&nbsp;come to us along&nbsp;with the Giver. &nbsp;All of&nbsp;your obedience to the Father’s will, all your good works, are the result of Christ indwelling you&nbsp;.</div><div><br></div><div><i>“For God&nbsp;is at work <u>in</u>&nbsp;you; both to will and to work according to His good pleasure.” &nbsp;</i><i>&nbsp;</i><span>(Philippians 2</span><span>;13)</span></div><div><br></div><div>Notice here, Paul does not use the Word ‘forgiveness,’ at all, (as if it were some gift&nbsp;God has chosen to give us, as if our criminal record was wiped clean), no. &nbsp;Instead Paul says, “<i><u>Grace</u>&nbsp;</i><i>reigns <u>through</u>&nbsp;</i>(the)<i>&nbsp;righteousness </i>(which is <u>in</u>&nbsp;Christ Jesus, who is Himself&nbsp;warming and enlivening us)&nbsp;<i>to eternal life.”</i>&nbsp;</div><div><br></div><div>There is no such thing as the&nbsp;‘gift’ without the ‘Giver.’</div><div><br></div><div>Prayer: &nbsp;Merciful Father, by Your Word and Spirit, keep us ever <u>in</u>&nbsp;Your grace, righteous only&nbsp;through Christ Jesus our Lord, (never apart from&nbsp;Him). &nbsp;<u>In Christ Jesus</u>&nbsp;we pray, Amen.</div><div><br></div><div>Love,&nbsp;</div><div>Dad/Baba/Eric/ Grandpa Pickle Pastor</div><div>“A chapter a day, every day, progressively, be transformed,’soak’ in God’s living&nbsp;Word. &nbsp;God’s Word is our habitation, and we, broken-hearted, contrite, forgiven, believing children, are His.”</div><div><br><div><a href="https://mail.onelink.me/107872968?pid=nativeplacement&amp;c=Global_Acquisition_YMktg_315_Internal_EmailSignature&amp;af_sub1=Acquisition&amp;af_sub2=Global_YMktg&amp;af_sub3=&amp;af_sub4=100000604&amp;af_sub5=EmailSignature__Static_" rel="nofollow" target="_blank"></a><br></div></div></div></div></div></body></html>
