<html><head></head><body><div><div><div><div><br></div>Romans 8;10&amp;11<div><br></div><div><b>10. &nbsp;But if Christ is in you, although your bodies are dead because of sin, your spirits are alive because of righteousness.</b></div><div><b>11. &nbsp;If the Spirit of him who raise Jesus from the dead dwells in you, he who raised Christ Jesus from the dead will give life to your mortal bodies, also through his Spirit who dwells in you.<br></b><br>When Paul says, <i>“But if Christ is in you,”</i>&nbsp;he is speaking rhetorically, meaning ‘<u>B</u><u>ecause’</u>&nbsp;<i>“Christ is in you.”</i></div><div><i><br></i></div><div>He is explaining the present state of the baptized&nbsp;Believer: absolutely everything about us which is connected to our flesh, is dead. &nbsp;Meaning we carry with&nbsp;us the stinking, dead corpse of the spiritual zombi.</div><div>That <i>“old self”</i>&nbsp;is not who we really are. &nbsp;The born anew man who is hidden in Christ in God, now lives in our soul and is <i>“alive because of righteousness” &nbsp;</i>(the righteousness of God by faith in Jesus).<i>&nbsp;</i>This ‘born anew’ hidden&nbsp;man,&nbsp;is our true, authentic self. &nbsp;</div><div><br></div><div>The <i>“old self” </i>is the mortal enemy of our soul. &nbsp;Therefore, by faith we practice&nbsp;discerning<span>&nbsp;between the flesh and the Spirit.</span></div><div><br></div><div>There is never a negotiated peace or union between the two. &nbsp;Those who seek comfort and&nbsp;assurance of their well-being from their thoughts, circumstances, or emotions&nbsp;will always be dismayed. &nbsp;We take the truth of&nbsp;our condition before God by faith,&nbsp;from what&nbsp;and who&nbsp;God’s Word tells us we are, NOT from our emotions or darkened thoughts, or circumstances.</div><div><br></div><div>We receive spiritual Life&nbsp;and strength to live&nbsp;that Life&nbsp;from the truth of God, NOT our feelings.</div><div><br></div><div>We truly believe that by our baptism,&nbsp;the Holy Spirit IS DWELLING&nbsp;IN US.&nbsp;Christ himself (by the Undivided Unity)&nbsp;IS DWELLING IN US.</div><div><br></div><div>The same&nbsp;power of&nbsp;God, which<i>&nbsp;“raised Jesus from the dead” </i><span>is by faith activity present, working in us, giving new Spirit powered strength to our forgiven, cleansed, indwelt new-man bodies.</span></div><div><span><br></span></div><div>The indwelling presence of Christ, by the Spirit, gives&nbsp;us&nbsp;the very power of God into our new born will, our&nbsp;forgiven,&nbsp;cleansed,&nbsp;and indwelt flesh. &nbsp;We can&nbsp;do in&nbsp;our flesh what the flesh alone cannot do.</div><div><span><br></span></div><div><span>God wills that we live the Christian Life now&nbsp;in this world and moment,&nbsp;in and with Him, in communion and fellowship with Him. &nbsp;We refuse to allow our feelings to tell us, “We can’t.” &nbsp;In Christ, we can, Alleluia!</span></div><div><span><br></span></div><div><span>We in Christ are able to do the Father’s will. &nbsp;We are able to go where the Spirit leads us. &nbsp;We live this new life with spiritual energy, light hearted, and joyful. &nbsp;<i>“We are more than conquerors through Him who loved us.”</i><u></u></span></div><div><span>(Romans 8;37b)</span></div><div><span><br></span></div><div><span><i>“The Law of the Spirit of Life in Christ Jesus has set us free from the law of sin and death.” &nbsp;</i>(Romans 8;2)</span></div><div><span><br></span></div><div><span>Prayer: &nbsp;We praise Thee O God, we acknowledge Thee to be&nbsp;the&nbsp;Giver of newness of life, in our baptism into Christ. &nbsp;Enlighten our minds, that they be set upon the Spirit. &nbsp;Bless us to take captive every thought and emotion to the Truth of Christ revealed in Your holy Word. &nbsp;Deliver us from seeking our peace and joy from our enemies, the devil, this world, or our flesh. &nbsp;Grant us wisdom and strength to truly abide in Christ and be abundantly fruitful. &nbsp;In Jesus we pray, Amen</span></div><div><span><br></span></div><div><span>Love,</span></div><div><span>Dad/Baba/Eric/Grandpa Pickle Pastor</span></div><div><span>“A chapter a day, every day, progressively, be transformed, ‘soak’ in the living Word. &nbsp;God’s Word is our habitation, and we, broken-hearted, contrite, forgiven, believing&nbsp;children, are His.”</span></div><div><br><br><div><a href="https://mail.onelink.me/107872968?pid=nativeplacement&amp;c=Global_Acquisition_YMktg_315_Internal_EmailSignature&amp;af_sub1=Acquisition&amp;af_sub2=Global_YMktg&amp;af_sub3=&amp;af_sub4=100000604&amp;af_sub5=EmailSignature__Static_" rel="nofollow" target="_blank"></a><br></div></div></div></div></div></body></html>
