It is God who justifies;&nbsp;</b></div><div><b>34. &nbsp;who is to condemn? It is Christ Jesus, who died, yes, who was raised from the dead, who is at the right hand of God, who indeed intercedes for us?</b><br><div><br></div><div>On the last day, there is a ‘Condemning Judgement’ pronounced upon the goats, the unrepentant unbelievers.</div><div>They shall face Christ’s own <i>“charge”</i>&nbsp;and in their guilt they will receive eternal condemnation, <i>“depart from Me you evildoers, I never knew you.” &nbsp;</i>(Matthew 7;23)</div><div><br></div><div>The unbelievers will acknowledge the just judgement of Jesus saying, <i>“Jesus Christ is&nbsp;Lord, to the glory of the Father.” &nbsp;</i>(Philippians 2;9-11). Although their confession will be to their everlasting sorrow. &nbsp;</div><div><br></div><div>This terrible day should inspire the love of God within us to prayer for our enemies, that they repent,&nbsp;believe, &nbsp;and are saved from hell. &nbsp;In view of this awful sorrow, compassion and urgency should motivate us to be evangelists who proclaim the Gospel, “<i>We must work the works of Him who sent Me, while it is day; night comes, when no one can work.” &nbsp;&nbsp;</i><span>(John 9;4)</span></div><div><span><br></span></div><div><span>On that Last Day, there will also be ‘judgement’ for Believers, but it is a judgement of righteousness and commendation, <u>not</u>&nbsp;condemnation. &nbsp;No accusations will be made against us. &nbsp;<i>“Truly, truly, I say to you, He who hears my word and believes him who sent me, has eternal life; he does not come into judgment, but has passed from death to life.”</i>&nbsp; (John 5;24)</span></div><div><span><br></span></div><div><span>Being judged ‘righteous’ is&nbsp;not just intellectually confessing right doctrine, it&nbsp;the Lord Jesus recognizing Himself in us. &nbsp;He Himself through the <i>“least of these My brethren, </i>(Matthew 25;34-40) will say, ‘You ministered to Me&nbsp;as you had compassion on the sick, the poor, those in prison, the weak, the helpless. As you cared for them,&nbsp;served them, sheltered them, fed them, and bound up their wounds, you were ministering to&nbsp;Me’.</span></div><div><span><br></span></div><div><span><i>“Then he will say to those at his left hand, ‘’Depart from me, you cursed into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels; I was hungry, and you gave me no food, I was thirsty, and you gave me no drink, I was a stranger and you did not welcome me, naked, and you did not clothe&nbsp;me, sick and in prison, and you did not visit me.’ &nbsp; Then they also will answer, ‘ Lord, when did we see the hungry or thirsty or a stranger or naked or sick or in prison, and did not minister to Thee?’ &nbsp;Then he will answer them, ‘ Truly, I&nbsp;say to you, as you did it not to one of the least of these, you did it not to me.’ And they will go away into eternal punishment, but the righteous into eternal life.” &nbsp;</i>(Matthew 25;41-46)</span></div><div><span><br></span></div><div><span>True saving faith manifests itself in good works. &nbsp;<i>“Faith without works is dead.” &nbsp;</i>(James 2;26)</span></div><div><span><br></span></div><div><span>Prayer: &nbsp;Merciful Father, we praise you for the Gospel of ‘Your Forgetfulness’: &nbsp;</span></div><div><span><i><br></i></span></div><div><span><i>“But this is the Covenant, which I will make with the house of Israel after those days, says the LORD: I will put my law within them, and I will write it upon their hearts; and I will be there God, and they shall be my people. And no longer shall each man teach his neighbor and his brother, saying, ‘’Know&nbsp;the Lord,’ For they shall all know me, from the least of them to the greatest, says the LORD, I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more.” &nbsp;</i></span><span>(Jeremiah 31;33&amp;34)&nbsp;</span></div><div><span><br></span></div><div><span>Merciful Father, You are &nbsp;omniscient, You know everything, but You have forgotten our sin, <u>no</u>&nbsp;<i>“charge” </i><i>&nbsp;</i>will be made against us. &nbsp;Alleluia!
