<html><head></head><body><div><div><div><div><br></div>Romans 9;1&amp;2<div><br></div><div><b>1. &nbsp;I am speaking the truth in Christ, I am not lying; my conscience bears me witness in the Holy Spirit,</b></div><div><b>2. &nbsp;that I have great sorrow and unceasing anguish in my heart.</b></div><div><b><br></b></div><div>Because the love of God has been poured into our hearts, and also because Christ by the Holy Spirit now dwells in us, we actually share in the pains which belong to those who have the<span>&nbsp;love of God at work in them.</span></div><div><span>This too&nbsp;is part of&nbsp;participation in the divine nature, sorrow.</span></div><div><br></div><div>When you love someone, but they don’t love you, and worse still they don’t love God, our hearts break. &nbsp; When they are suffering with foolish,<span>&nbsp;selfish, and irresponsible&nbsp;</span><span>life choices and worldly priorities&nbsp;which harm them,&nbsp;</span><span>(e</span><span>ven as you try to warn them&nbsp;and</span><span>&nbsp;they refuse to listen to you, when all you desire for them is life, joy, peace, and fruitfulness), but they stubbornly, willfully ignore you and go further from you and the Lord, our&nbsp;</span><span>hearts</span><span> aches and we with Paul also have sorrow and anguish.</span></div><div><br>This is the price of love,&nbsp;we are truly sharing in the&nbsp;suffer of&nbsp;Christ.</div><div><br></div><div>This is what Believers must endure in their oneness with God, God’s own sorrow.</div><div><br></div><div><i>“When he drew near&nbsp;and saw the city, he wept&nbsp;over it, saying, ‘Would that even today you knew the things that make for peace! But now they are hidden from your eyes’.” &nbsp;</i>(Luke 19;41&amp;42)</div><div>Jesus was not only weeping over Jerusalem, he wept for the whole nation and for all unbelievers who hear the Word of life and who refuse to listen.</div><div><br></div><div>This sorrow in our hearts for family, friends, and enemies who stubbornly close their ears to the life giving truth of the Gospel, is in another way an assurance&nbsp;to us personally. &nbsp;It means God is indeed living in us and that our hearts and His are one. &nbsp;</div><div><br></div><div>This does not diminish our sorrow, but it&nbsp;does testify to the divine reality of the meta-physical union Believers have with their Lord. &nbsp;Christ indeed shares our sorrows and we His. &nbsp;It also reveals the mysterious truth that repentance and faith come from God, we cannot give it to others. &nbsp;</div><div><br></div><div>Prayer: &nbsp;Merciful Father, Jesus said, <i>“No one can come to me, unless the Father who sent me draws him; and I will raise him up at the last day” &nbsp;</i>(John 6;44) <i>&nbsp;</i>therefore Father we pray, draw our loved ones to You,&nbsp; deliver them from their own unbelieving&nbsp;rebellious hearts and&nbsp;all evil, that they also with You and Your Church,&nbsp;partake of Your heart, Your love with all its’&nbsp;sorrows. &nbsp;In Jesus we pray, Amen.</div><div><br></div><div>Love,</div><div>Dad/Baba/Eric/Grandpa Pickle Pastor</div><div>“A chapter a day, every day, progressively, be transformed, ‘soak’ in the living Word. &nbsp;God’s Word is our habitation, and we, broken-hearted, contrite, forgiven, sorrowing, believing children, are His.”</div><div><br><div><a href="https://mail.onelink.me/107872968?pid=nativeplacement&amp;c=Global_Acquisition_YMktg_315_Internal_EmailSignature&amp;af_sub1=Acquisition&amp;af_sub2=Global_YMktg&amp;af_sub3=&amp;af_sub4=100000604&amp;af_sub5=EmailSignature__Static_" rel="nofollow" target="_blank"></a><br></div></div></div></div></div></body></html>
