But through their trespass, salvation has come to the Gentiles, so as to make Israel, jealous.</b></div><div><b>12. &nbsp;Now if their trespass means riches for the world, and if their failure means riches for the Gentiles, how much more will their full inclusion mean!</b></div><div><b>13. &nbsp;Now I am speaking to you Gentiles. In as much then, as I am an apostle to the gentiles, I magnify my ministry</b></div><div><b>14. &nbsp;in order to make my fellow Jews, jealous, and thus save some of them.</b></div><div><b><br></b></div><div>Paul in verses 11-24 is contrasting the unbelieving biological Jews with&nbsp;Gentile Believers. &nbsp;He continues to examine the mysterious plan of God in allowing a spirit of stupor to come upon the Jews, keeping most of them in unbelief, and allowing the Kingdom of God to be opened to Gentiles.</div><div><br></div><div>Here is this section Paul is inspired to compare Gentiles to wild olive branches, and the Jews to God’s own cultivated olive tree, (roots and branches combined).</div><div><br></div><div>What is the great <i>“trespass” </i>of the Jews? Answer:&nbsp;The great trespass of the Jews is&nbsp;their refusal to believe that Almighty God can do whatever He desires; especially, God can be both truly&nbsp;One, <i>“Hear O Israel:&nbsp;The LORD our God is one LORD; and you shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your might.” &nbsp;</i>(Deuteronomy 6;4&amp;5),</div><div><br></div><div>&nbsp;and at the same time Three Persons, <i>“Father Son and Holy Spirit.” &nbsp;</i>(Matthew 28;18-20).</div><div><br></div><div>Their sin is the&nbsp;rejecting of&nbsp;Jesus as the Son of God, the Second Person of the Trinity, true God <u>and </u>&nbsp;true man,</div><div>Both the son of David, AND the Son of God. &nbsp;</div><div><br></div><div>When Jesus said to the High Priest, <i>“You will see the Son of man seated at the right hand of Power, and coming on the clouds of heaven.” </i>(Matthew 26;64) &nbsp;He by His own Word was declaring Himself equal to God. &nbsp;For the Jews logically, this was simply impossible and blasphemous.</div><div><br></div><div>The great sin of the Jews was their trust in their own rationality and logic. &nbsp;The failed to, <i>“become as little children” &nbsp;</i>(Matthew 18;3) and believe<span>&nbsp;in&nbsp;God for whom nothing is impossible. &nbsp;Children are able to believe the illogical and irrational.</span></div><div><span><br></span></div><div><span>What a gift is faith!
