<html><head></head><body><div><div><div><div><br></div>Romans 12;6-8<div><br></div><div><b>6. &nbsp;Having gifts that differ according to the grace given to us, let us use them: if prophecy, in proportion to our faith;</b></div><div><b>7. &nbsp;if service, in our serving; he who teaches, in his teaching;</b></div><div><b>8. &nbsp;he who exhorts, in his exhortation; he who contributes, in liberality; he who gives aid, with zeal; he who does acts of mercy, with cheerfulness.</b></div><div><b><br></b></div><div>Verse 8 is calling us to recognize, we all have been given gifts for the work of building up the Body of Christ.</div><div><br></div><div>“<i>And his gifts were that some should be apostles, some profits, some evangelist, some pastors and teachers, for the equipment of the Saints, for the work of ministry, for the building up of the body of Christ, until we all attain to the unity of the faith and the knowledge of the son of God, to mature manhood, to the measure of the statue of the fullness of Christ;” </i>(Ephesians 4;11-13)</div><div><br></div><div>&nbsp;These gifts and gifts of Office are given to us, each one.</div><div><br></div><div><i>“ As each has received a gift, employ it for one another, as good stewards of gods varied grace: whoever speaks, as one who otters oracles of God; Whoever renters service, has one who renders it by the strength&nbsp;which God supplies; In order that in everything, God may be glorified through Jesus Christ. To him belong glory and dominion forever and ever Amen.” &nbsp;</i>(1 Peter 4;10&amp;11)</div><div><br></div><div>Yet, the gifts God gives us can be ignored, denied, and&nbsp;repressed by our carnal old nature. &nbsp;</div><div><br></div><div>Faith believes not just in Christ crucified and risen for us. &nbsp;Faith believes in Christ indwelling us by the Holy Spirit with gifts given for the work of serving others and glorifying the Father.</div><div><br></div><div>In order to know our gifts, we may ask others what they believe they may be? &nbsp;Perhaps we already know some of our own gifts from God. &nbsp;</div><div><br></div><div>The critical, key issue is: by faith, making use of these gifts, and giving all the glory to God.</div><div>Be alert, aware of opportunities for service and by faith, taking action. &nbsp;</div><div><br></div><div>God the Holy Spirit yearns to use us, when we in faith obey the will of God working in us, we find the joy of the Lord. &nbsp;We have been created in Christ Jesus for Good Works. &nbsp;(see, Ephesians 2;10)</div><div><br></div><div>Obedience by faith and holy joy are the light and heat of God’s love at work in us.</div><div><br></div><div>Prayer: &nbsp;Merciful Father, by Your grace make us courageous to act in response to the Holy Spirit prompting us. &nbsp;Bless our hearts with insight that it is Ypu who are work in and through us. &nbsp;Living the life of fruitfulness is not burdensome, it is energizing and joyous for the new man….of course the flesh will ceaselessly oppose all such newness of Life in and from us. &nbsp;Bless us to by the Spirit, to deny that old self and truly walk with Jesus. &nbsp;In Jesus we pray, Amen.</div><div><br></div><div>Love,</div><div>Dad/Baba/Eric/Grandpa Pickle Pastor</div><div>“A chapter a day, every day, progressively, be transformed, ‘soak’ in the living Word. &nbsp;God’s Word is our habitation, and we are His.”</div><div><br></div><div><br></div><div><br></div><div><br></div><div><br></div><div><br></div><div><br></div><div><b><br></b><br><br><div><a href="https://mail.onelink.me/107872968?pid=nativeplacement&amp;c=Global_Acquisition_YMktg_315_Internal_EmailSignature&amp;af_sub1=Acquisition&amp;af_sub2=Global_YMktg&amp;af_sub3=&amp;af_sub4=100000604&amp;af_sub5=EmailSignature__Static_" rel="nofollow" target="_blank"></a><br></div></div></div></div></div></body></html>
