For whatever was written in former days was written for our instruction, that by steadfastness, and by the encouragement of the scriptures, we might have hope.</b><br><br>Notice how the written Word of God actually is our source of Truth, not our feelings.</div><div>Emotions can fluctuate, the Word of God is changeless and steadfast, eternal.</div><div>God’s Word breathes hope into our souls which human emotions can never do because they are unstable and untrustworthy. &nbsp;The Word of God forever encourages us to trust in the faithfulness of God, He has kept His promises to us and He will keep His promises to us. &nbsp;God has created for us a spiritual shelter, a mighty fortress of protection through His own unchanging Word of Truth.</div><div><br></div><div><b>5. &nbsp;May the God of steadfastness and encouragement, grant you to live in such harmony with one another, in accord with Christ Jesus,</b></div><div><b>6. &nbsp;that together you may with one voice glorify the God and father of our Lord Jesus Christ.</b></div><div><b><br></b></div><div>There is only one Truth. &nbsp;Agreement within the Body of Christ is the result of the Word of God which delivers us from ‘our own corrupted sin-filled minds and fears’ into, the Mind of Christ. &nbsp;</div><div><span><br></span></div><div><span>Like the human body itself, everything works together within the body with a single will, God’s own holy will. &nbsp;There is no discord within the body, it works in harmony, cooperatively, mutually supporting itself, all for the divine&nbsp;purpose&nbsp;of glorifying God through fruitfulness, becoming divine&nbsp;life-givers.</span></div><div><span><br></span></div><div><span>Is it not wonderful that Paul uses a musical concept, ‘harmony’ to try and illustrate the working and purpose of the Church, the Body of Christ. &nbsp;All Creation indeed sings with many voices to&nbsp;the glory of God, the stars and planets, the flowers and trees, the birds and the fish, the winds and the waves, all sing this great hymn of praise to God.</span></div><div><span><br></span></div><div><span>In Christ, we have been given our ‘voice’ to join in this glorious hymn. &nbsp;God’s Word is the ‘sheet music’ which keeps us united and in perfect harmony.</span></div><div><span><br></span></div><div><span>Please note: ‘harmony’ is not discord, harmony agrees with other notes. &nbsp;The agreement of God working in us unites us in His will and purpose, we are to be Life-givers who use God’s Word to&nbsp;call&nbsp;all men to repent and to turn from their sour notes of sin and selfishness. &nbsp;Through baptism into Christ, we die to our own old self-praising&nbsp;voice and receive a new heart, a new Spirit, and new Life (God’s own power)&nbsp;with which to sing His praise.</span></div><div><span><br></span></div><div><span>Prayer: &nbsp;Merciful Father, bless us to find the joy of obedience to Your divine will, apart from obeying our own passions and fears. &nbsp;Grant us to walk by the Spirit and&nbsp;fearlessly honor Your will. &nbsp;In Jesus we pray, Amen.</span></div><div><span><br></span></div><div><span>Love,</span></div><div><span>Dad/Baba/Eric/Grandpa Pickle Pastor</span></div><div><span>“A chapter a day, every day, progressively, be transformed, ‘soak’ in the living Word. &nbsp;God’s Word is our habitation, and we are His.”</span></div><div><br><div><a href="https://mail.onelink.me/107872968?pid=nativeplacement&amp;c=Global_Acquisition_YMktg_315_Internal_EmailSignature&amp;af_sub1=Acquisition&amp;af_sub2=Global_YMktg&amp;af_sub3=&amp;af_sub4=100000604&amp;af_sub5=EmailSignature__Static_" rel="nofollow" target="_blank"></a><br></div></div></div></div></div></body></html>
