<html><head></head><body><div><div><div><div><br></div>Romans 15;8-13<div><br></div><div><b>8. &nbsp;For I tell you that Christ became a servant to the circumcise to show God‘s truthfulness, in order to confirm the promises given to the patriarchs,</b></div><div><b>9. &nbsp;and in order that the Gentiles might glorify God for his mercy. &nbsp;As it is written, “Therefore, I will praise thee&nbsp;among the Gentiles, and sing to thy name”;<br></b><div><b>10. &nbsp;and again it is said, “Rejoice, O Gentiles, with his people”;</b></div><div><b>11. &nbsp;and again,&nbsp;“Praise the Lord, all Gentiles, and let all the peoples praise him”;</b></div><div><b>12. &nbsp;And further, Isaiah says,&nbsp;“The root of Jesse shall come, he&nbsp;who rises to rule the Gentiles; in him shall the Gentiles hope.”</b></div><div><b>13. &nbsp;May the God of Hope fill you with all joy and peace in&nbsp;believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope.</b></div><div><b>&nbsp;&nbsp;</b></div><div><i>“For he has made known to us in all wisdom and insight the mystery of his will, according to his purpose which he set&nbsp;fourth in Christ as a plan for the fullness of time, to unite all things in him, things in heaven and things on earth.” &nbsp;</i>(Ephesians 1;9&amp;10)</div><div><br></div><div>Sin divides us, the grace of God in Christ unites us. &nbsp;(Please note: The oneness given us in Christ is perfect, there are not disagreements in Christ and no divisions.)</div><div><br></div><div><br></div><div>Question: &nbsp;‘Who is the <i>“I”</i>&nbsp;in verse 9? &nbsp; 9. &nbsp;<i>“I will praise thee among the Gentiles, and sing to they name.” </i>?</div><div>Answer: &nbsp;He is Jesus by the Holy Spirit, indwelling the Gentiles in praise of the Father.</div><div><br></div><div>Our worship of the Father is a unified worship with the Patriarchs of Israel. &nbsp;Our worship is with the people of Abraham who believed the promise of the Blessing which came to all peoples, Jesus the Christ, through Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. &nbsp;There is only one united song of praise to God the Father.</div><div><br></div><div>To be filled with, <i>“all joy and peace&nbsp;in believing” </i>(v.13) is to find God’s own, Christ’s own joy and peace <u>apart from earthly circumstances.</u>&nbsp;&nbsp;<u></u></div><div><br></div><div>God in His mysterious but perfect plan for each of us, is to allow us to live surrounded by&nbsp;enemies, (beginning with our own old nature the flesh) and ONLY by faith in Him and His promises, be filled with Christ’s own joy and peace through the Word of promise alone. &nbsp;Our hope is still to come, we do not in this life see the full completion of God’s plan for the fullness of time.</div><div><br></div><div>We may however, be blessed with occasional ‘glimmers’ of the glory of the unity which is to come. &nbsp;These glimmers we shortly behold in some small quiet personal view of God at work in those whom we love.</div><div>With these, and even more, let us give praise.</div><div><br></div><div>Prayer: &nbsp;Dear Father, our hearts yearn for Your&nbsp;finished work through&nbsp;Jesus by the Spirit, true oneness restored to your Creation. &nbsp;Bless us with quiet, patient joy and peace as we await the end of all things and behold the fullness of Your glory. &nbsp;In Jesus we pray, Amen.</div><div><br></div><div>Love,&nbsp;</div><div>Dad/Baba/Eric/Grandpa Pickle Pastor</div><div>“A chapter a day, every day, progressively, be transformed, ‘soak’ in the living Word. &nbsp;God’s Word is our habitation, and we are His.”</div><div><br></div><div><br></div><div><br></div><div><br></div><div><br></div><div><br><br><br><div><a href="https://mail.onelink.me/107872968?pid=nativeplacement&amp;c=Global_Acquisition_YMktg_315_Internal_EmailSignature&amp;af_sub1=Acquisition&amp;af_sub2=Global_YMktg&amp;af_sub3=&amp;af_sub4=100000604&amp;af_sub5=EmailSignature__Static_" rel="nofollow" target="_blank"></a><br></div></div></div></div></div></div></body></html>


Romans 15;8-13
